It's a game of mastermind and since you have unlimited tries, it's rather easy. Get a piece of paper ready and write down where certain Items can definitly not be. Of course the random element can be a bit annoying, if an symbol is present multiple times. Once the right symbols are identified, I find it easier to replace them with letters on paper (or give them names). Using something more abstract objects made it easier for me to handle them in my thoughts than trying to think of them as graphics.
btw, Ubisoft also used a mini game like this in their Star Wars game to hack into computers, I wonder if Aleksey got his idea from them.

I can't hide the game's chat box with the mouse button while playing this game. Can anyone help?

Maybe the mod allows it. But it's meant to be done with the "H" key. Maybe program a macro on your mouse for that ?

So uh... the game got rebooted, hence the name Rebuild in the title, and this new version hasn't reached that point in the story yet.
This project runs since 5 years or longer ... in that time technology, models as well as dev's skill and experience have improved ... nothing wrong in going back to start and making a better game instead of continuing an outdated approach ... it's the dev's project. Everybody is free to start his own BB game clone project ... Ren'py and Daz are no rocket science ...
I don't get the "infinite money glitch"?

"removed" is the wrong word since the whole previous version "Big Brother: Another Story v0.09.2.03" is still available in OP.
AfaIk the rebuild version "Big Brother: Another Story Rebuild [v0.09.00]" has a slightly different focus, so besides the main story there is some content only in the old version and some only in the new one.
Don't get confused by the similar version numbers. They do not corelate. See the changelog for details.
