it depends on your culture. incest is widely viewed as taboo. where the line gets drawn is different for each culture, for instance arabic muslims have put it as those born from the same marriage and thus step children that are adopted due to marriage (not all arabic cultures have the kids become a part of the new family as the kids of the new husband or wife) would be incestuous for them to have relations (though if one gets knocked up out of wedlock then it is fair game for the biologically related half brothers and sisters to go at it). you can see where the west currently draws its line with the shift on sites like xvideos and pornhub in which incest videos are now about step siblings or step parental relations. the line has been drawn at biological relations (and several US state's laws reflect this from well before current times).
the step thing can be forgotten about as the story goes on, much like the landlord/tenent relation used to sanitize the incest taboo themes. given that this is a remake it will be compared to the original, and thus one has to acknowledge the stepping back of certain taboo elements of the story.

Well, i think both of you are in luck. From the previews and the little snippets of information that Aleksey has been giving out, we're going to start having more interaction with Ann from the next update onwards
Question about the Eric route:
Ok I tried it in some version multiple times from the begining. But I always end up with the same result.
I didn't buy any of the clothes for the girls, I let Eric do it but:
1. Lisa kept remain the 1piece swimsuit. (until I bought it for her 20-30weeks later)
2. Couldn't trigger the Alice achievement
Is this a bug? Or these options not yet available? Or am I just this dumb?
Try to search it in the forum and found 1-2 hints which I followed but with no luck.
