I don't think we'll see a lot of Ann + Max anytime soon. The next chapter will be about the Eric conflict, so their relationship development's on hold. But Max getting so close to her in the early game might explain his motivation better.

I played this game a long time ago. I got to the part where the mother character brings her new boyfriend home.

Then the game was rebuilt. I played the game again at that time but no new content had been added to the game yet and the boyfriend character was not included in the game.

Now I want to start the game from scratch again but I have something to wonder. How far has this ''rebuild'' version come? Has it caught up with the old game? Has the boyfriend character been added to the game? Are there completely new scenes that were not in the old game?

It's different from the original, contains story elements and gameplay elements that were not in the old game, some stuff will be left out. Chapter 1 is almost finished and I'd say it focused on Alice mostly. Chapter 2 will be about the Eric conflict.
