Ren'Py Big Brother: Another Story Rebuild [v0.09.00] [Aleksey90]

So if I wanted to play a BB with the most content I should go for Remake Story or Smirniy v2 right? Another Story Rebuild has less content but is still updated, right? Is Smirniy v2 still active and being updated?
Smirniy v2 is completed and has an ending, but it uses the original DarkSilver game as its basis, it's pretty much a bunch of mods on top of the original game, so it is incredibly grindy. Honestly, just use cheats on your stats, its better than spending about a month of in game time just grinding stats so Max can do anything. The quality is a bit inconsistent, but its a perfectly playable version of the game.
Remake Story is also based on DarkSilver's original, being ported into Ren'Py with new content added specifically on the NTR route. However, it's abandoned, and not actually finished. And if you don't like NTR, then there's not really anything new for you on that game.
Another Story Rebuild is still in active development, with a more structured story imo, with some new concepts and stuff like Mia the lawyer and what not. However, development is slow, and the older Another Story technically has more content. In terms of grind and stuff, Rebuild is the best version imo.

One last question: to use the Smirniy v2 version do I have to download the game separately or is it enough to download what I find on the Smirniy v2 page?

In the latest spoiler, the top left says "v0.09" instead of "v0.1" which means not only is it (more or less officially) delayed from July to August, apparently it won't be the full first chapter either?!
Nothing surprises me anymore with this game. Maybe in 2035 I will see it completed, maybe we will have GTA 8 before it happens, who knows...

version is just a number. (ok, that's not entirely correct, it's a string)
He can change it at any point he wants.
Maybe he did it because a lot of people expect a game to go from 0.9 to 1.0 and not to 0.10
And in that case it would just be a matter of formating.
So
String.format("%d.%2d",mainVer,subVer)
instead of
String.format("%d.%d",mainVer,subVer)
But if we got all people to wait for GTA8 instead of leaving sarcastic comments here about how slow the progress is, that would be a win indeed.

Original has more content but can be grindy.
Rebuild has both remade content and brand new content but is not at the point where the original release was left yet. Chapter 1 will supposedly be complete as of the next update.
