You can tell when a game has just about run its course. The updates get less and less frequent until it gets abandoned. The developer runs out of all that pre-game enthusiasm where they envision that they will build this amazing game, and then reality hits after a few years and they realize that the project just doesn't seem fun anymore. I hope I'm wrong, but it looks to me like its starting to happen here.
