You see, this quest HAD a bug which has been fixed already. If after you protected her so and so often you can't talk to her even if the opportunity description says so, that's the bug. And if that happens to you, you didn't apply the bug fix (correctly). That's why I am asking for the game version, to make sure.

So I am stuck on Arachnophobia. I have had the spider forever now but Alice is either never alone or the icon for the spider event doesn't appear when she is in the shower by herself at 0800.

Please point me in the direction of a fix or the one that I missed skimming the posts.

If it has something to do with not being able to talk to Alice, then check your game version on the title screen. If it's not 0.07.p1.02, install the bugfix from page 1.
If the problem is something different, ask your question and Zoltar will share his wisdom through us

Alice showers alone on Wednesday at 0700 and Sunday at 0700.
