We already had v0.07 both parts. With 3 paths to make it's hard to get a lot in each path, soon I think maybe there will be just one. This V0.08 update is really disappointing.
With this volume up, I can't understand why the version is V0.08 and not V0.07.
It's a work I like more than the original game, but I'm anxious because it feels like the lack of it is getting bigger as the version is upgraded.
I can see the logic there, very good points and I'll add a third option which would unleash hell. Dedicating each update to a specific path. That would only please one group at a time and eventually leave the smallest group in hot seat as the most popular route/s become identifiable. Because with that info a dev can make a decision to only focus the most popular route/s and close off the least popular ones. Or maybe add the least popular routes back in a post completed version of the game. It's a common problem on games with multiple choices/paths. Work on it gets increasingly frustrating because you work a whole lot more to get content on each path, but the end result always seems short because the majority of the end player only chooses one path.
There are only two options for the developer of these types of games: you either delay the release for a long streches of time to increase the amount of content; or release shorter updates in shorter periods of time.
I think option two is the best and most balanced. With short updates you get them thoroughly tested by the players giving the developer time and notice to patch eventual problems, something that could get a whole lot more complicated with bigger releases.
I get the frustration of short updates, but i think its the best option.
Your right, but I think in the case of this game, the 3 paths will merge into one. This will make for larger updates for all. Of course some will be disappointed, but there is no way to please everyone.I can see the logic there, very good points and I'll add a third option which would unleash hell. That's what basically happens in the majority of all adult games and that's why mommy stories usually get most attention.... Or maybe add the least popular routes back in a post completed version of the game.

Not sure if you now of this VN but Long live the Princess has been completed (unofficially) for a while now you can play it from beginning to end in some routes. But, the dev is still finishing the endings and in doing so inserting the storylines throughout the game. Picked back up the other day only to realize starting over in the (plus) versión unlocks options to new dialogue and paths that are not available in the first play through. So it's not a mundane task to play through again on the path that you want when you update becomes available._

One more option would be to release a finished game, but hardly any small or non professional developer team can afford that.
On the professional market however episodic games are almost dead by now, people were disappointed too often and stopped buying.
I hearead of it but it didn't really catch my attention. I guess it's worth playing if you mention it, I might give it a tryNot sure if you now of this VN but Long live the Princess has been completed (unofficially) for a while now you can play it from beginning to end in some routes. I feel that people who really like the game—such as myself—will have a game save for each individual path anyways. Not everyone will, but I feel the majority will. Spreading out updates between paths will also prevent the game from getting unbearably long, like what happened with more than a few games on this site. I think it's called 'Twisted' or something like that, but it's on something like update 40 and by now the game is so stupidly long that trying it out from the beginning is a journey that could be measured in weeks.I can see the logic there, very good points and I'll add a third option which would unleash hell. Its similar to BB_AS in the variables aspects. Simple choices have drastic effects on the game path your on. It was really frustrating at first threading that needle but after the first play through (and more than a few saves to set my path right) it was fun to finish. I actually (I think) have a save for maybe all the critical points for my path just waiting on the harem ending on one route now.I hearead of it but it didn't really catch my attention. I guess it's worth playing if you mention it, I might give it a try![]()

Think I saw that but I use my phone so Unity and Real Engine games are outside of my reachI feel that people who really like the game—such as myself—will have a game save for each individual path anyways. I did. But I restarted the game.
I only have the war path for now, but I did have the friend save up to a point.
Then got a new PC
I never did play the 'enmity' path. I am guessing that is just lying to Eric, pretending to be friends while working against him in the shadows. Not sure if that leads to different scenes or not.
In the previous version, hostility and fake friendship path were completely different. Not the first to say this, not the first time I'm saying it either. In every version on every route Eric is eventually gotten rid of. Personally I think way too much time has been spent on his character. Eric lovers can at least have that this is the longest he's stayed in a version though.
I was thinking about this a while back. I remember Aleksey saying that once Erick was gone there would be other antagonists introduced in the story. While I thought at the time that this meant that there would be NTR with other people, I changed my mind after playing the other BB remake that has more of an NTR focus. Story wise, other antagonists actually fucking the main girls would make no sense. At most these antagonists will be like some sort of cockblock mechanic. We already had v0.07 both parts. With 3 paths to make it's hard to get a lot in each path, soon I think maybe there will be just one.
I hope your not saying what I think your saying maxbishup need some backup here.In the previous version, hostility and fake friendship path were completely different.
In this version of the game, all path have a unique event that is not available in other paths .
Not really! There's a version with a longer branch of Eric'sEric lovers can at least have that this is the longest he's stayed in a version though.
