Ren'Py Big Brother: Another Story Rebuild [v0.09.00] [Aleksey90]

I was thinking about this a while back. I remember Aleksey saying that once Erick was gone there would be other antagonists introduced in the story. While I thought at the time that this meant that there would be NTR with other people, I changed my mind after playing the other BB remake that has more of an NTR focus. Story wise, other antagonists actually fucking the main girls would make no sense. At most these antagonists will be like some sort of cockblock mechanic.

I mean, how in the flying cuck could someone seduce a women that has already fallen for their damn brother / son / nephew / cousin? Unless Aleksey turns them into sluts or over exploits the blackmail trope, which would suck, it makes sense that this game will turn into a vanilla game with antagonists only annoying the living fuck out of max.

This is of course if he takes into consideration that the incestuous bonds(?) they’ve formed with max should be pretty strong once Eric’s gone. I mean, if you actually fuck your family member, shouldn’t you be pretty much into them?

Or maybe he could keep introducing girls with boyfriends and shit like that which would turn Max into a bull. Which would be… kind of creepy…. I mean… could anyone here deny that Max is one of the creepiest protagonists in the forum?

Oh, there’s also the Power Vacuum option. Where NTR path leads to game overs. That will also mean there’s only one route as the other one reaches a dead end every time anything happens.

Nice deduction but there's there's a flaw in it. The new antagonist does not need to be of a sexual nature. I keep coming back to storyline, Panther and I already settled this debate. But there's a lot of room for antagonists
1) The obvious choice Eric's vengeance
2) Max father's enemies (mafia, supernatural, family on his side). There is a lot of room here for story content.
3) Anyone of the girls can pick up a stalker (sexual nature I know) just thought of that actually.
4) Max can eventually leave the house and makes enemies
5) The reverse in a very slim line to walk where another MILF (maybe a neighbour) goes after Max, triggering a confrontation between her an Ann (that has to much room to become really cheesy after a while.
6) Max father tries to come back into picture. (Just crossed mind too)
7) Max kills Eric and has to hide the body, get rid of the evidence and keep the police from proving what he did with the help of Ann and Alice.

The list goes on

There is more than one way to be an anthagonist. Maybe Aleksey actually has a real story in mind? We know that it was planed that he would get a real job at some point, so it might as well be related to that. Who knows?

And btw, so far we know of at least three additional girls (four if you count in the delivery girl). So yeah, your idea of Max being a bull would also be possible.

In the current renpy remake of the original there is a hacker who hijacks his homepage and steals half of the income (most likely to slow down the grind). Even that would count as anthagonist.

There is more than one way to be an anthagonist. Maybe Aleksey actually has a real story in mind? We know that it was planed that he would get a real job at some point, so it might as well be related to that. Who knows?

The flaw I see there is that antagonists that aren't sexual in nature in a sexual game would be there just as a tool to cockblock max as I said in my post. They wouldn't actually present a challenge for the player or a sense that something bad will happen if you fuck up, they would just be there to disable max's interaction with the girls. Of course antagonists like this would enrich the story's plot but I also think that a porn game that focuses on story instead of porn is missing the point. It would eventually feel like they are there just to pad each update with renders that lead nowhere. In which case it would be better if they weren’t there at all.

Oh, I just thought that maybe they could be there to advance the plot and move relationships forward, like opening new sexual interactions between Max and the girls because they did X or Y or things like that, but then they wouldn’t actually be antagonists (in the sense that they cause you some type of harm or danger), would they? They would actually be welcomed events as their actions would lead to more sexual options hahahaha.

OK, we'll agree to disagree on that aspect. I can think of a few scenarios well where Max still has to work on the corruption aspect in the house and at same time deal with new "villains/antagonists" introduced into the game to keep it interesting. I also have seen it executed well and not so well in other games and VN's so the limit is not the game itself but the dev and his team. Antagonists can go after Max, the girls, the house or whatever and still have a game game chuck full of porn.

The dev was purposely holding all the mom content and when he got called for it, released everything and fucked off.

The problem is that this game was intended as an extension of Eric's content. But here again, everyone is screaming that it urgently needs to be removed and gotten rid of as a matter of urgency. Although fans of the game without Eric, can easily play Glamour and Big Brother v21, which is actually already completely finished history, as all requirements are met...

But I bet a million dollars that even if the developer says that there will only be one branch with Eric in the game, people will come running asking how to get rid of him!)))

I think even if you call the game "Big Brother Eric" and put Eric as the protagonist, they will still ask if you can get rid of him!

If I’m being completely honest, the very concept of the father actually being a thing never once crossed my mind.

Wasn’t he dead? It’s been so long since I’ve played the opening sequence that I don’t remember what his character’s setting was. The father coming back and learning that his son is trying to fuck all his female relatives is such a fucked-up storyline hahahaha. I love it.

It would work in the vanilla route as he would be… normal? From his perspective Max would be the creepiest creep ever. He would try to stop his sick child from pretty much committing a crime depending on where they live.

It would also work in an NTR way by doubling-down in the incest trope. Father-Female-Son NTR is pretty rare, even in Japan.

I want to give it a try but not being an Eric fan it does not sound like a game for me.

If you are interested, I would suggest the original version anyway, it still works (the new remake is very inert and far from being complete). But it won't run on tablets I think.

There are very few things from the first half of the original that I miss in Aleksey's version, one of them is Max spanking Alice in the living room. When he starts groping her, he of gets a boner and her reply to one of his excuses is "I take that as a compliment", epic
But the garden scene we get in Alekseys version is a lot more rewarding.

And from what I've learned, you're going to be so disappointed. But don't get me wrong, I really don't care if Eric stays in your game forever, I already got rid of him, in mine. Of coarse I play all 3 paths for testing, but in my game for fun, no Eric. Oh BTW, to make a million dollar bet, you must first show the money, hell I'll make it 2 to 1. Anyone that believes Eric was ever a major part in this game really is lost. He was gotten rid of in the original game, didn't make it into Glamour and here Aleksey is just barely keeping him on a ventilator, he's literally only in the game about 3 days a week and only on evenings and he's asleep half of that time (by the way it was always the intent to do away with him eventually). The only place Eric survives and thrives is in fan art cut and paste remakes. Few devs even bother to put in the work the create new scenes, they simply grab fan art and post it in. If any one truly wants a Big Brother Eric version the answer is simple.... Make it yourself otherwise your just wasting time complaining. The dev here is a good one he actually comes here every now and then and interacts with people who may or may not support him and takes a lot of negative comments that you don't see on his patreon or Discord channels. Then he tries to please both worlds his supporters and critics most of them here. Wish you luck getting DS here (honestly if your not $40 sometimes it feels like you don't exist to him.
