I wonder why people keep missing that. That's what the whole event is based on after all. Lisa "forces" Max to watch boring stuff with her for spying on her.

Basically I would have liked to see some apologetic dialogue from the girls or at least acknowledgement of their betrayal. It just kind of leaves me bitter towards the girls and makes me want to get back at them which I probably won't be able to do.

Except of course Auntie. Auntie Kira is our Ride or Die Bitch, she knew we didn't do it, Auntie Kira Best Girl. Shoutout to Auntie Kira for being the only one who believed/believes in us. Max gets more motherly warmth from her than from Ann.

That's actually a good suggestion/addition. It would not be connected to any opportunity, just a talk at dinner or something like that.
But then many kids would complain that they should at least blow him to make up for it or Max should get to spank naked all of them at the same time :) or better team up with Kira in order to do so.

However, the situation was not ignored. There's Ann you can have a talk with two times when she talkes about Eric and pretty much does what you asked for with hugs and all. This will lead to progress in the Yoga opportunity in a future update.
Lisa resumed kissing lessons, I do believe that there was a word about Eric, but I am not sure about that - I might mix something up. Also the situation came up when it comes to Olivia. Lisa was worried that after Eric, Ann would not want Olivia at the house being naked.
Alice got no new conten since that situation, so maybe there will be something in the next update.

And about motherly warmth ... Ann spends way too much time whining about what a bad mother she is rather than trying to be a good mother, that's true.


btw ... I hoped Ann would not be quite as dumb in this game. But the first encounter when she saw Olivia naked: "Oh! Lisa, why didn't you give her at least your old swimsuit?" THAT was what came to her mind? Really? That she is naked because she had no swimsuit? Most people in that case would wear underwear. And of course it was way too easy for max to convince her.

Trust me that point has not been missed, but after bearing the Eric saga for so long a lot of people are just glad it's over. Unfortunately there are a few people (definitely not the majority) that still fail to realize that this VN is about Max and has always been about Max (in all major versions of it at least). A short retribution arch would have been nice only if Max gets over it eventually because at the beginning of the story everything he did only started with the need to protect his family from Eric. Not to be an Asshole himself. For me personally I really wish Aleksey would just finish tying off the Eric saga so he could focus more on the rest of the game but he's the dev and I'm just along for the ride.

By hunky dory I don't mean stuff being addressed about Eric, I mean addressing of the treatment of Max because they turned on him so quickly and Alice and Ann were being bitches to him to be real. Alice takes top bitchyness but Ann comes in second especially when Eric was there. I just want some apologetic dialogue from the girls about the immediate betrayal and treatment. There is the dialogue with Ann at the balcony but it's more about her self-loathing and talking about the girls than Max but it's still something I guess, it just felt kind of lackluster.

I would've just liked Max to get a clear apology and thank you for what he did it would have been nice to read but he doesn't maybe even just Max being a little miffed about the attitude change and showing it, he's not even a little mad. I don't mean for Max to be like "Man fuck these bitches. They betrayed and turned on me so easily I'll show them their place." but more of a " I think I deserve an apology and a thank you from you girls, some remorse about how you treated me. I think that's fair."

And yeah...Ann is kind of really fucking dumb forreal. Alice and Max must take more after their father because I see where Lisa gets her "Smarts" from and even then it sometimes peeks through for Max and Alice too. My question is how Lisa and Ann haven't already been taking advantage of, especially with Ann's backstory. I have two ideas, either they haven't come across anyone who would by sheer luck or even before Eric came in Max has been running interference for the longest time trying to stop people from taking advantage of his family.

But then Kira is not the same as Ann even though she did let Eric have sex her rather than facing the brunt of it.......... :unsure:You know what Max and Alice are their father's kids on second thought.

So does this version add more than the original? Does Eric fuck all the girls?
And lastly which of the many versions of this game is the furthest along? Kinda tired of playing this game from 0 to realize nothings “new”

Ann and Kira are sisters, but their personalities are completely different. But if I think about it both of their decision making capabilities seem...... Well it sucks

This and Glamour both have more content (to me). Glamour in total, BB_AS in terms of comparison to were it is to the original.

There is new stuff (like movie night or Alice's attempted punishment), but it builds up on the original premisse. This is NOT the original + some other stuff, but rather a variation of it. It starts of with the same elements, then changes most events. A strong focus is on variation of the repeatable content and on a more natural relationship progress. It's definitly more elaborated.
Some elements like Olivia's boyfriend are missing completely, but then we have Kira's coworker, who shows up.
But ... the game is definitly not focused on Eric. If you stay on War path you will hardly notice Eric. The plan is, that if you stay friends with him, there will be more content with him and the girls, but the game is not there yet.
As mentioned by dwalsh before, the Ren'Py remake of the original might be, what you are looking for. They took fan art for the original to create a separated Eric storyline.

Holy shit! I haven’t played that game in years! I read the update log, looks like it’ll be even MORE fun now. Thanks for pointing that out to us!
