If what i read on here is true? i might lose interest in this game. I like the NTR games its something different instead of all the mother son sex stuff. I know this game isnt truly NTR since the MC isnt dating his family but you know what i mean. I like the games where the mom is dating or cheating and you are given the option to have NTR or Harem or whatever you want to call it so everyone can play the game to their likes. If having sex with family members is your thing so be it , some might like to just watch them have sex with others and enjoy the taboo of it. I dont put others down for their own fetishes, like i dont like piss in games but i am not going to ask for games not to have it in there for those who want it but at least make that avoidable for those who dont want it.
I was hoping for more of Eric and hopefully the MC and Eric would become friends and corrupt the whole family together. They could whore them out , make porn movies whatever but to just get rid of Eric sucks for those who wanted to continue that route. I never understood why people get in fights or put other gamers down for their likes. Like people putting others down for wanting NTR but these same people are the ones wanting incest . I like games that give several routes so i can play the game again going a different route and hopefully see new scenes and story lines. Hopefully this makes since just some quick thoughts of mine . I just like to see everyone get what they want out of these games and enjoy but thats impossible i guess Lol

As such, this leads to either smaller sized updates, or longer release dates (to get the content that you want.)
That is one effect.
The second one, is that most of the time, the game itself appeals to X, but, if NTR is forced on the player, that doesn't like it, this is usually when complaints arise... Or, in the worse case scenario, SURPRISE NTR, much later in the development.
Personally, I don't have an issue with NTR as long as it's not the typical boring "all characters gets banged by mythical BBCs and you're pathetic with a small white cock."
The original big brother was pretty good with it, as NTR was avoidable, if you played your cards right. That is one situation I'm fine with, if it's avoidable, but you still got to work to avoid it, and is part of the actual story. However, this still places these games, in the situation where if two exclusive paths are present, it'll require double the work to release the same amount of content in the same timeframe.

Undeniable, but you can't act like it's just NTR haters that are ruining "dev's vision. In general, most creators nowadays are forced to change some things regardless of whether the creators want it or not, hence the forced NTR path in what's supposed to be a vanilla only story and vice versa.
In this context though, if the description in the original is what the creator wrote, then I can see why some fans would be infuriated. Description hints at you either turning your own relatives into your own harem or at least one of them into your partner but then suddenly you're introduced to this one guy whose influence is increasing unreasonably basically forcing you to see the "NTR" scenes in a game with relatively vague hints where choices actually matter if you want to make any progress in the objectives or to avoid the "NTR" scenes.

Then you got the two best games (in my opinion)
There are some good VNs out there like No More Secrets, but when it comes to sandbox, most games are jut a grindfeast and not very good.
If you like real point & click adventure games with some sexy girls (not porn games), Larry Laffer might be your friend. I suggest the VGA or modern remake ("reloaded") of Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of Longue Lizards (that's LSL part 1), then parts 5-7 (and there is no part 4, don't bother looking for it). The new "Wet dreams ..." series is not so good as the original series. In another game called "Fascination" you play a female spy, it's also quite good.

Personally I thought both Eric and Max were creeps and would honestly wouldn't mind it if both of them got kicked out of the house before doing anything and some new guy who isn't a weirdo replaces max as the protagonist. Eric is bad but way to many incest games have the protagonist be a creep for some reason. Eric is the worst of the two though.

I could well see Max (or the role he plays) as the anthagonist, but I would not like to play a scumbag character like Eric. Sure, most main chars have serious issues, but they normally aren't complete assholes - or at least there is almost always a choice not to be one. I like to play the nice guy. Brain damaged and crazy, but still nice. There are some game where you chose either to get close to the chicks or control them by fear. And ... it's just no fun seeing the others suffer. That's just not for me.
Personally I can't stand asshole mcs so I'd never even look at this game if the protagonist was Eric. The one benefit max has over a lot of other incest game protagonist is that at least he doesn't molest people in their sleep. I realize this might be the wrong game for this but I genuinely dislike corruption. It's creepy. I prefer when the protagonists actually build up relationships with the characters overtime. I've only seen a few corruption ones where I liked and it wasn't really corruption it was mostly just the mc trying to convince them to go the next step so it felt more like seduction.
This game has some build up for the relationships but its just really grindy and boring when you do and most of the storylines really arent that interesting in the first place. Even without Eric coming in the Max is a perv whose creeping in on his family. And Eric is also a perv and a sexual predator who tries to get rid of a kid so he can sleep with his family. They are both awful and I honestly had more enjoyment kicking out eric than anything else in the entire game. I'd rather replace max with some friend from Alice's school.

I like the points so far but there's some that just miss the mark.
1) You can't have your cake and eat it too, your either like voyeurism or not so if your playing for the shower scenes with the girls you can't call the character creepy. I have played the game already without peeping much and it didn't affect much if anything if I remember correctly. Stealth points have pretty little effect outside of the voyeur aspect of the game.
2) 99% of the grind is directly related to Eric, after getting rid of him the game flows a lot smoother to me. Plus a degree of common sense is reestablished.
3) And this is one point I generally try to shy away from. You can't be onesided when applying logic to a scenario even water can exist in three states and still be considered water. You can drink water but you can't drink ice or eat vapor. NTR is NTR but most arguments seem to suggest it's only NTR if it's against the protagonist here and turn a blind eye when it's reversed.
4) Not sure of this point, I'll have to go back to replay the beginning to confirm. But I'm pretty sure Eric was the person that suggested the punishment system and then later the naked punishments. If I'm wrong I apologize up front.
5) Last point, A fundamental fault of a lot of arguments. Ann, Alice, Lisa and Kira are costars in this VN. Eric is a popular extra at best. This game is about Max and constantly debating that is pointless to me. If you go to see a Spiderman movie and like Vemon more do you remove Spiderman from his movie? Guessing the answer is no. You'd make a Venom movie. I raised the problem with that in an earlier comment too. Frankly producers will produce what the majority will pay for.
Just get enough supporters together and I'm sure an Eric based game can be done, but this one is already taken.

I find "corruption" incredibly stupid. I can live with "influencing" or "convincing" or "seducing" someone, but "corrupt" her/him? That's just bollocks. This stupidity is only topped if the game has an actual corruption stat (which then has to be grinded even).
I prefer char writing where the others decide for themselves (of course accorting to script) what they do. A pure story based progress is best in my opinion.
I guess there are enough people out there who actually need to feel in control over someone (look at all that control/submission/blackmail bullsh**) and the devs follow their wishes.

I am honestly and truthfully convinced that you need to reread my post.
Apart from that ... look at Eric fan art, what Eric fans expect fom him.
And of course he comes into Ann's house and gets after her daughters, fires her later after she breaks up. He forces Kira to interact sexually with him if he catches her and Max. Aparently his plan was also to marry Ann, take the house and then kill her. I can't confirm that it's true, but several people told me that this was part of the original games plot. Let's just assume he won't make her suffer when he does that.
