Would anybody actually recommend this game to a total newbie? Is it any good to get a person started in the VN world ;-)

Also, having read a few threads here, this game seems to be a copy/plagiarized version of another game here. Am I wrong?

There's not really some sort of skill cap in this type of games my man, just pick one where you like the art style and kinks and give it a try.

This game is more like a remake of another game here, which was abandoned.

That´s actually good news, without Eric and without any other challenges the game could became stale.

A good option would be alex making a move on Lisa. Just hope Aleksey can stay away from making the entire cast porn actors like in the original game

Yup, yup, yup but nothing that a loaded 45 and a dark alley can't fix. But seriously I've already noticed that when Ann goes to work his influence begins to creep up again. Seeing as she's home more now Max has a lot more time to neutralize it but it's noticeable. Even her mood flattens in the evening until you do a few events to bring it back up. I really, really, really wish Max can snap in one path and just permanently deal with Eric even if its a game over path.

The other game kind lost his appeal when DS killed Kate´s path by merging with BB side quest. Also not a fan of lisa model on that game

Yeah, that one was completely bonkers. What I did like was that different storylines merged at some point, but the Ann's storyline ... oh my.

Seems it's gonna get worst too, total derailment of a story. Without Eric that version of Max was already creepy now it's.......wow. Not seeing Aleksey going that way though. I think he's roughly at the point where this stops being a remake and he starts making it his own.

In my opinion he added plenty already. I just played the first one for old times sake and that one is so ... dry.
The massage at the pool? Either it succeeds or not, top of or not. Use spider. Success yes/no. There are just 2 pictures for the spider prank. In BBAS we have different options, more pictures from the beginning, at some point Max can grab Alilce's boobs and later he has to make her hide behind him, so she puts her hands on his private parts.

Spying in the shower? 2 pics max. Success or get caught by Ann. In BBAS there are different positions, camera angles. And there are of course the "stick or carrot" and "who doesn't takes risks" opportunities connected to it, nice renders when you give the girls choccolate as an apology.
Aleksey did a great job bringing more variaty to the game.

Panther said it during and exchange a while back, and after running through a few sandbox games well since his statement stands true. It's hard to get a good storyline in sandbox games. The repetitive nature of these type of games can really kill a storyline. But so far so good here ( accept during the points where I'm frustrated looking for triggers).

Alex had his shot with Lisa and was rejected. But sense he and Eric both have a little sugar in their gas tank, maybe they'll run away together. But seriously NTR is not a challenge, in fact just the opposite. Now the threat of NTR can be a challenge, but only if you are allowed to fight it.

Agreed, and the playing field MUST be even. Hate VN's when Devs tease the impossibility then make almost impossible to play the path you want. Its best they just put a Kinetic tag on those.

I think repetition and grind are gameplay devices to create the illusion of agency - ie. at the end of the process, the payoff happens because of your own merit rather than it being predetermined or kinetic, which greatly increases the mental payoff for the player.
But IMO repetition don't necessarily have to affect story telling. The story basically pauses for a period where you grind to be able to continue, so it's conceptually like time dilation.

Besides agency, it also enables progression towards increasingly more lewd scenes which is incredibly effective (though usually executed unimaginatively and predictably - handjob -> blowjob -> titjob -> pussy -> ass -- but that can be fixed by engaging brain when writing/designing).

Fair points but I'll argue if your to focused on game mechanics you loose a lot of time on enjoying the story. On of the absolute best execution of sandbox/VN mechanics was done in DeLuca Family where there is a sandbox mode where you can free roam and complete Character building events then move to the VN mode to progress the storyline. Which BTW is incredibly well written. Coming back to BBAS, that's why I give him his props he's making a complicated sandbox game and still trying to keep a story going. I've seen a lot of sandbox games fall into just a hunt for lewd scenes that are completely incoherent.

If you only click on "latest bug fix", in the OP, you'll see we're at 0.07.P2.06.

Doesn't really matter, since hardly any attempt gets anywhere. BBAS looks good however. Story is processing slower than in others, since Aleksey is putting a lot of work into adding variety for the daily scenes.


Hopefully not, that would bug some opportunities and then we would get people whining here because their savegames are broken and they can't get Alice to sleep naked (a Eric event is needed for that) and Lisa won't take her top off and Kira won't talk to you and ... and ... and ...

You can get rid of Eric quite easily at some point. But make sure that in the current version you first complete what's currently possible for the schoolmate opportunity. Because once he's gone, you can't proceed on that (will be fixed in the future) and therefore also the opportunities it is connected to.
Just play the game, complete opportunities, keep the girls happy. Once the requirements are met, he will accuse you of theft. From that point on it's almost too easy.

You know be even easier if there was a mod where I could slit his throat watch him choke on his blood as he accuses me of theft at night then bury him in the backyard and watch the spiders feast on his corpse. Fuck that guy.
