Disney and Pixar don't reuse a model for a main character, at least not without so much modification that you would not recognize the source material. Sure, I expect some reuse of material, but I would also expect some effort to make the characters unique and his own. But with literally everything, the characters, the clothes, the poses, the background locations, etc. He just bought it and at best changed some colors around or mixed and matched hairstyles.
That would be Ok if it weren't for other issues with the game. First, the writing, at least the English writing, is not very good, second, the code is not close to bug free. Last, and to me most damning, the output per release is pretty light and far from what I would expect with the amount of funding he has.
I would call this game a con because he is stretching out the development cycle much longer then he probably needs to, likely because he is getting paid by the month regardless.
