It's like watching a bad "reality tv series" where we get the recap of the recapped recap before and after the commercial break. Then 14 minutes of an actual show... I don't watch that crap but a lot of people I know do so sometimes I can't avoid it... It's tiresome for sure... next world sounds good to me as well.

Nostalgia?

It wasn't great compared to today's standards, but at the time it was a pretty significant standout. I think a lot of folks were like me and came from Sim Brothel and HHS type games and saw the pretty pictures, and dumped way too much time grinding for the story progression and then never got to the anticipated story lines. So its an unfinished landmark in our decent into this madness.

Thats my theory anyways. For me there are two games Big Brother and the Coceter Chronicles that I still think back on as unfinished business.

rancies who takes off years (not weeks or months) but years between any meaningful (play worthy) content update

ztf who micros updates with very little (front end) update content to show for, along with his disappearing acts in between these updates and with him consistently missing his own self imposed deadlines (with very lame excuses of why).

Coding and CG art are just two parts of making a good game. You also need a story, and that may be where they are lacking. I haven't looked at this one yet, so I can't say anything about their story. What a lot of these artist/coders need is a WRITER to create an original story.

Please reread the third sentence. In my books the only negative so far is this is yet another version of the same TITLE and primary actors. I have not even unzipped the file yet, so I have not said anything negative about your story, because I do not know it yet. Yet at the same time, Champinon's comment is valid as well. You obviously have the hardware to produce high quality CG (I also have a RTX3060), and your art from the previews seems solid, so why not create a new story with new characters and actors?

I have an RTX 3060, do you know how many cuda cores it has? It read to me like he was saying you should go for it because none of the other developers working on it were making progress.
