I've never tried creating fan art myself but after looking at so many posts in this thread I ask myself: Is this hard to learn? And how much time do you guys need to actually create such a scene without the rendering part?

I've spent a lot of time in Daz Studio, so a lot of my scenes probably take 30-60 minutes to set up. Depends - if I'm doing a series, the first one always takes longer because you're setting up the environment, lighting, etc. With subsequent ones, it's usually then just ("just") adjusting poses. All depends on how nit-picking I get over things.
As with anything else, your mileage will vary - early on, you'll spend a lot of time trying to figure out "how do I do THIS now..."
But rendering the scene typically takes a lot longer than setting it up, particularly if you don't have a decent NVIDIA GPU.

Was trying to figure out what Lisa would wear as a Sith, but Siths wear whatever the fuck they want to wear.They are amazing! Will use the first one for my desktop although I'd prefer a Sith version.

I am back. And this time with another kind of test. I've got some new hardware. Beefed out my RAM to the max, that this Mainboard can handle. And I replaced my beloved GTX 750Ti with a GTX 1060 (6GB). These Cards are damn expensive here in Gemany but so much difference in rendertime. So much difference in quality. I didn't regret it.
About the picture, there are two things I will change in the future. Bad Kitty will get new ears and a new tail. I think I have a solution for those two, but I have to hone my blender skills before the change, and I have to wait till my next salary check next month, to buy the foundation props.
But enough about my new system.

Three more for you... This is actually going to be three scenes but all in the same location and with Kira Alice and Max. It starts with Kira entering the room being critical of Alice's sex scene and telling her she needs to practice and that she's going to help, her... then Max comes in right on cue...
