If your getting the assests off of these forums, they are mostly tar-balled up as they would appear in the \DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library folder, wherever you decided to install it. I think the default was C:\Users\(YOURUSERNAME)\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library, for windows at least.
So if your breaking them open to where you are seeing folders like "People", "Props", "Runtimes", "data", etc... those go in that location.

Those are archives man... you need to unpack them first with Win Zip, 7zip, etc. before you can use them.
