your choices in dialogs don't change character. You just won't see some content by selecting wrong options. And if you do that, you still can repeat same activity on other turn.

Question. Did you open the walkthrought right after load saves or did you move around location and then open? If at once, then no fix will help. In my game, before the game, you need to go to any neighboring location to apply new changes to the code.
On the first page there is information about saving and how to start playing a new update.
