Question....how tf do I save on Android? There's no quick menu buttons and even the swipe actions aren't working. No way to open the menu once you start the game. Bruh....

Also a textbox opacity slider would be great.
Anyway, as it is right now, without the option to access quick menu, this game is unplayable on Android devices.
I mean you can play it but can't save. I'd rather eat my own fingers than have to redo everything in a big brother game from the start.
And Ann is always hurting Lisa by treating her like a child, thankfully Olivia and Kira exist to help counteract that.
Just don't uh, go insane with it like Glamour did lol.

Since I know how this place goes I'm gonna get a jump on the inevitable "Dev is gone, game abandoned?" posts and remind people that he said he was gonna take a week off in the middle of June.
It's currently right around the end of the middle of June and it's been about a week since he was online, I'd imagine he'll be back soon.
Remember devs have lives outside of here, they're not all no-lifers like me.

I'll post a progress update on Patreon in a few days, but here is what's going on with the game development is a few words.
I'm currently on that pre-announced week off (I'll be back on Sunday) and since I did bring only my laptop, I can't work on making graphics for the game. Instead I'm doing some refactoring on the early events to make the game more streamlined for new players (the quests should not depend on events, so I'm inserting new steps in the already done quests that will mirror the events). The initial plan was all the content to be ready by the time I left for my vacation, but as it is often with plans, they tend to change. The week before I left we had a visit from the headquarters at work, so it was "Jesus is coming, look busy" kind of deal - we had to be in the office for the whole week, back-to-back meetings, those kind of deals, and that took a toll on the time I could spend on the game. At the end of the day, all I wanted to do is open a can of beer and fall asleep on the couch.
Anyway, the plan now is to have the new version released by the end of the month (the week after I get back), so this is what I'm aiming for. I know it's not perfect since this will mean probably no update in July, because 0.6 will be a pretty big update (Eric's first wife will appear, Kate and Olivia will be added to the weekly schedules, which means lots of new renders and events).
Yeah, there's always something isn't there?
More Olivia is always a good thing, looking forward to that one.

Plus the time spent on messages with Patreon staff explaining them that I don't own this thread, so any tags or patches containing content that violates their rules are "unofficial", didn't help with the work on the game either. A big "thank you" to whoever decided to report it...
Eric's first wife will be a twist on the Dark Silver's take on BigBrother in "Glamour", so I hope you'll like that as well

100% agree on this. That's why I decided to get one of the Glamor character's personality and pose her as Eric's wife (with an extra twist).

Unlike some other protagonists who start out like Max, but eventually develop compassion, empathy, and feelings for the women in his life, Max seems stuck with his narcissistic teenage brain. He never seems to develop any empathy but is always looking to manipulate those around him. It's why I stopped playing Glamour in favor of other games.
No character growth.
We'll see if BBIS's Max will be any different.
The way I see it, Eric is hated because he is an obstacle to players playing out their own douchy fantasies.
If someone were to write a BB game that centers on Eric and HIS manipulation, those same Eric haters would probably jump at the chance.
I see that too, but I've complained about Max as well.
I've said a few times I hope his creepiness is toned down in this game.
Max does seem to turn into an absolute psychopath especially when he starts using Eric to try to get to Ann.
Should just be trying to slow him down until he can get rid of him, it's like he (or the dev) can't decide if he's trying to protect the girls or doesn't really care and just wants to have them for himself. Which also seems to be the case in Glamour as he says he's not comfortable doing some of the school punishment shit a few times, but that stuff is beyond ridiculous so...
But he's not the only one that is manipulative, hell look at how Alice acts the second she gets something on Max and Lisa or when she takes over in Glamour.
That's why I like Lisa, she's nice and doesn't really manipulate people...but really naive and sheltered too which is a problem.
The Glamour character can be sneaky as hell though.
And Olivia just likes to have fun.
Kira is a perv but she's our favorite perv, right?
I hate Eric in the other games because he's an asshole that's clearly just taking advantage of Ann and trying to fuck the other characters behind her back. I hate that kind of character, I definitely don't want to play as him. Max is bad enough as it is.
He seems a bit different in this game, but Erics are Erics so he's still a problem.
