v1.08 was originally scheduled for release in September of last year.

dev is apparently still active on boosty but if the posts are unrelated to the game or to the game update (if it's only fanart f ex) i'd say it's abandoned
Oh, I think he cares, but his goal has always been his bank balance. He drops games if they aren't profitable for him, and right now, his PC seems to have been on its last legs for about three years. So yeah, the only chance I see of this being completed is if someone(s) donates enough for him to replace it. I mean, I can't fault him for that attitude because we all gotta eat, but he's also very upfront if and when he drops a game. So he's not quite there yet.

No seriously use your brain a little. dude manages to make enough by simply posting some fanart on boosty from time to time. He knows more will unsub if his game is marked as abandoned here.
If he can still post 3d art, it means his pc is still functioning well enough so he can make those. So why not making in game art then ?
Sketchy af. He was motivated in the beginning but probably lost his motivation but won't give up on the cash, which is understandable. But people need to wake up.

His problem is that there is no one around to urge him to work. This is a common problem for many artists who work from home. They are addicted to various social networks and games every day. It's not very good to show the pornographic games one has made in front of family members. Therefore, one can only work late at night or when family members are not around.
I seem to remember him saying he lost all of the "models/assets" he was using...so the fanart he is putting out may be him recreating what was lost? I am not a programmer and even less of an artist and as such I have no idea how long it might take to redo all of that.

I guess you've misinterpreted what he said, he just mentioning the state of the dev and speculation why the game seems to be abandoned which is, PC being screwed up and unfit for developing game and if the income is just enough for necessity assume that dev will not be able to fix/replace his dev tool.
