Unity - Abandoned - Big Brother [v0.13.0.007] [Dark Silver]

The game left a very positive impression and was enjoyable to play. The story and atmosphere were engaging, especially in the earlier versions. However, with each update, the structure and logic became more confusing, making it harder to understand where to go next. This slightly reduced the overall enjoyment, as the correct path often changed. Despite that, the game provided a memorable experience with a strong concept. It is a pity that development has stopped because the project had great potential.

One of the OG corruption games that did it right.

The love for this game is justified as the game was way ahead of it's time both in terms of visual and execution. The mods for this game are aplenty and they are good.

The base game has good visuals and pacing.The characters are well explored and the models look hot. The setting is a bit cookie cutter especially nowadays in 2025, we have seen the formula before.

But for the time the game was released, It achieved something that is hard-a genre wide fan-base.

Definitely a solid recommend and time well spent .

This was once, one of the hits on this site back in the days. Where we had just a handfull of them not like today.

But it was always a pretty grindy game, what made it interesting at that time were the great renderings and interesting settings. the story were always medium at best.

Today there are better alternatives to use instead of this one
you're better of playing either Big Brother: Remake, Big Brother: Another Story or Glamour
The first two are made in renpy instead of Unity which greatly helps against the grind.
the first is a remake that stays true to the original while
another story is different but still very similiar to the original with same setting and characters.
Glamour is a remake from the original dev of this game which looks way better but has way more grind and not renpy again.

R.I.P. Original Big Brother we will never forget you, but it's time to move on.

The game itself is... meh, the mom is hot, sisters too, but there's this one fucking huge problem, yes it's Eric.

First, I was like okay, so there's this little villain that you have to beat, I thought it was a nice change of air, I was totally up with that, but here's the thing, the moment he arrives at the house, the game becomes an NTR fest, and you can't do shit about it. I was so infuriated when I realized that and basically just dumped the game. he was doing tons of shit with the mom (BJs, sex... etc) and you basically can't do anything about it, afaik he doesn't do much to the sisters before you kick him out, but you can't do much about the mom and him going crazy, which instantly put me off and I pretty much closed the game when I realized that because I was mainly playing for her, maybe for the sisters too but mostly her. It's a huge shame, if Eric was more a challenge and didn't have sex scenes it could've been a great game, just seeing him show up and fucking the mom the next day was such a huge turn-off.

The renders and overall quality of the game are nice and don't suffer from much, as others have mentioned, the huge amount of teasing and the fact that you basically will never see a pussy getting fucked, it's always hidden on the sex scenes. Also it's full of grinding even with mods, so prepare yourself.

The dialog is just bad, the MC is a retarded fuck that basically has no idea how to deal with simple stuff and issues. Talks like a 12 year old, it's so fucking annoying to see him talk.

The story is absolutely dogshit. it was fine up until Eric showed up, then it just went downhill because the MC just keeps being annoying and wanting to poof that he's "a man" yet he never acts like one, even with the simplest situation his brain just doesn't function correctly. Also Eric just suddenly has control over all the family when he arrives so yeah, overall annoying & tedious more than fun.

The only saving grace are the models if you are into them.

This is a game that proves that you don't need animations, music, interesting storylines, a large variety of maps and other things that help but are not everything. It has so many downsides, like the pg quests (route) that break too easily, the super boring grind without cheat, the aesthetic of the MC that is present in too many games and more, but it does very well what a game like this has to do. Each image is gorgeous and the female characters are all promoted, I absolutely recommend the game.

This is probably the best adult game I've ever played by large difference, but ONLY IF you play with the cheat mod. Otherwise the grind is so excessive to the degree of making it unplayable. For those who like a bit of a grind, don't worry. Even with the cheat mod, the grind is very significant.

The renders are fantastic and that is obviously extremely important, but for me besides the taboo element, the best thing is the writing and the characters. Both are very well done and make you connect with the characters. Yes there are some dumb things like how can you send an adult (Max) to military camp without him wanting to go, but hey it's a porn game after all.

The fact that so many people truly hate that douche Eric, are in love with Lisa or get hard just thinking of that goddess Kira is for me a testament to the overall quality. If a game manages to invoke passion in the players, then it's doing something right!

It's truly a shame this game was abandoned, because even though there are many storylines that could still be explored, theoretically it was close to the end if the creator wanted it. All it needed was a few more scenes where you pop Lisa's cherry, then the Mom finds out Lisa is just as much a horndog as the rest of them and the whole family lives a hapily ever after orgy

It was abandoned - so not worth your time. But if you still thinking to try it, consider this: it's another sandbox-type torture, time-management waster, multi location (convoluted free roam to cover lack of content) game with "young man finds himself living with his step-mother's best friend's landlady's neighbour" cliche story. A monstrous, unplayable, boring grind with the most predictable story ever and grainy models you've seen in many other games. It offers nothing new or fresh in the genre repeating the same sandbox torture setup with repetitive and meaningless grind that's been already reused a million times.

It's a pretty good game, except for the bugs that hinder the progress of the story. Even though I played the game from the beginning a few times, I couldn't see the whole story, I got stuck with a bug every time.

Even with cheats the grind is just horrendous.

The renders are pretty decent and the content is just average for a porn game. However, the grind is the worst. I thought I could skip the grind with mods, but this game is nearly impossible to navigate without a walkthrough and all the key events are pointlessly spaced far apart, plus there's no button to skip an entire day so you have to spam click to pass each day.

The characters are good, properly written than most i'll say.. but the NTR.. and the grind to avoid NTR..

Wow the grind, just to much grind and very little progress. Even with cheats I had to give up. It was unplayable. I extracted the images from the game and it doesn't have much sex actually. The images are also a bit dated now in 2021.

This was one of my favorite from all the hentai games out there ever it had amazing story and really good characters it really broke my heart when it stopped being updated and i really hope it will pick up again one day because i doubt theres someone that hates it.

Flawed but amazing. This is a game that leaves an emotional trace. Unlike many forgettable Visual Novels which gets you laid with a secondary character in a few seconds, you have to earn everything in Big Brother. And earning sexual favors from the members of your family is insanely rewarding.

However, there are some problems in terms of gameplay. It's easy to be lost without a walkthrough. It's abandoned, and superseded by the game "Glamour" which is far from being a good game. Some of the situations are a bit too clichés and in your favor, like your aunt.

Nonetheless, I liked having such a painful antagonist to beat, I liked the mom being such a desirable and unattainable reward, I like the amazing renders. Almost no game on F95 comes close to Big Brother, this is a bittersweet observation, since it'll never be completed... but in terms of hours of content, I think it is still worth to play.

I played this game for a whole day and gave up.Couldn't bare to finish it.Even with the cheats enabled it's a complete grindfest that leads to little to none content in the end.You do the same mundane things over and over again to achieve a laughable progress.Some of those things you must repeatedly do are too much of an effort and very time consuming.Let's say you want a bag of pistachios.You go to shop and you learn that you must do some excruciatingly boring stuff whole day in order to do that.At the end of the day all you get is a half of a single pistachio and the owner tells you to come in next week to get the other half.I'm not one bit exaggerating.That's how it's like progress in the game.

UI looks okay and works fine other than that there's no guidance,no mission logs,no trace back and information on your progress is quite lacking.You don't know what route you are on and what to follow.

%90 of the stuff are happening in the game are to stretch the game and delay the events as long as possible.Like there's this one nudist girl that does all kinds of kinky stuff and finally when you have a chance to bang her she comes up with a ridiculous excuse contradictory with her character and tells you next time.

Women constantly denies your attempts even sometimes what you ask to do much more simple before what you did with them.Sexual scenes are short,not much happens and quite unsatisfying.NO ANIMATIONS.You can't see what you want to see because of the angles.There's always some view block of the female assets.It's like you are watching one of those erotic movies on the government channels that are cut off and censored.Game constantly tries to tease you with little soft sexual action and sexual dialogue like in the end you gonna get some hardcore shit but fails miserably on both of them.

Renders and models are good but none of them are mindblowing.All of them are a weak attempt to tease and keep you hooked up enough to make you bare through the bs in the game.

Mc is a dumbass.Incompetent moron and a gasbag.Half of the time he made me think "whenever this guy's gonna grow balls omfg" and the other times he made me yell "MAX STFU" at the screen at some point.He peeps at women when they are showering or while they are getting dressed and blackmails them to reveal their breast and such but can't figure out what to do in order to go further.Even when its's obvious.Doesn't know what to say and in some stiuations when he says something he fucks up everything.He is defensive about the women around him and wants to keep them to all himself but he set's up cams all over the house let people watch them getting fucked and he let's his mother get fucked.Speaking of cams you can set them up to allow people to watch but you can't watch them yourself?WTF?!

I decided to replay this. I keep seeing so much hype from people about it. I figured maybe I missed something. Sadly I didn't it is the same lack luster pile of crap it was when I first played it.

There are countless issues with the story beside the main character being the biggest wet noodle of all time.

He has all this access to cameras and can't manage to record one conversation Eric or Eric fucking his sister. All he would need to do is have it play on the TV on one of the nights the two of them sit on the couch Eric would be toast. Those are massive plot holes.

If some ass wipe came in my house any time I was past the age of 13 and made threats like that and I didn't take him down my dad would have kicked my ass to hell. So you can imagine how I would deal with a character like Eric. Eric's a bitch a gnat to be smashed.

I can list a 100 ways a kid max's age in real life would have destroyed that fuck. Maybe, Eric could have gotten away with this in a PRE 1970's era but not in the culture with the technology they had presented in this game. Far to easy to catch his ass and simply show mom.

Max, has none of the realistic options that people would use in such a situation because the author is to busy trying to push the narrative he wants.

This game is exactly where it belongs abandoned. From what I seen of the remakes and off shoots they belong in the same place.

The biggest problem with the story is Max is a shitty character and doesn't fit the role he has been placed into.
I'm going to stop there because if I say what I really want about this character it will result mostly in attacks on the author. This is supposed to be a product review.

What this game does well is prove a fucking shit load of people have absolutely no fucking taste or understanding of quality nor can they recognize the massive number of issues with it. You have to be blind not to see them.

had to put 5 stars instead of 4 as trying to mitigate malicious and useless hateful 1star rates from of ntr-haters and vn-readers.

some "imperfections" can be found only when compared to similar popular sandboxes
-no ingame hint system. (using user's walkthroughs is something sandbox player got used to. but ofc that is not ideal option )
-questchain/progression system (which per se is NOT a grind, it is an usual approach!) does have some grind which i would not mind to avoid. if i remember it right - mostly it was RNG related but some events needed to be repeated certain amount of times. also timeskipping could be a chore of sorts.
hopefully other things like cash and some datesim stats could be raised via cheats/mods.

BB would be much more comfy with some other qol improvements (rollbacks for example, or good timeskipping options)... some fan remakes demonstrated that renpy is a better engine choice for that game

To add to the conversation about this game:

The foundation is clearly top quality: characters, writing and visuals completely stand out.

Hot takes on polemic character design aspects:
- the MC is in perpetual edgelord mode, always on the brink of ruining every hard won advance, but it adds to the tension and makes victories even more satisfying. Deal with it.
- the constant bullying from everyone (except the aunt) is warranted given MC's behavior; a small price to pay in player discomfort for all the forbidden pussy MC gets. Deal with it.
- as for the NTR, I think people need to get over their insecurities. MC is an underdog who wants to be alpha, and Eric is the dog to beat, which he eventually does. It fits. Deal with it.

Ultimately, it seems Patreon's incest policy shock is to blame for the game's fate.
Looks like development was headed in a good direction, but by the time development was halted, there were too many inconclusive stories and gameplay was too imbalanced, accounting for the mind numbing grind and uneven pacing toward the end.
As is, each small advance in the game is incredibly rewarding, but the grind cost is just too high and it sours the experience.

There's hope for the future, with at least one active fan based project trying to improve and extend the story, although volunteer resources can't compete to that of the original game studio, so progress is slow.

Verdict: must play, though excessive grind is unavoidable even with cheat mods.

Pay tribute to this game, it is the pioneer of many later such games, such as the iconic characters of mom, big sister, little sister, and aunt.

The character design and plot perfection of this game still cannot be surpassed. I can't find a game that can reach this level.

The only and huge disadvantage of this game is that there is no point in wasting time.

If you don't cheat at all (including money), even if you spend three hours a day playing this game, it will definitely take more than a month to become a lover with the character.

And even if you cheat, it still takes a lot of time to play, because many plots in the game will only appear when the time in the game is up, and you must experience one by one to have a follow-up plot.

The game is loaded with content, hits a lot of kinks and has very good buildup towards the action. Renders and scenes themselves are also of very good quality.

All above being said, the game is an extreme grind. After a few attempts I played with the mod and that made it enjoyable. Without the mod the grind would drop it down to a 2 or 3 rating. Even with the mod getting to some scenes requires huge churn of days to skip arbitrary 'wait N days before talking to X about Y' fillers.

In summary. Get the game, get the mod and give it a try. It is a solid 4 (with the mod) that breaks towards the end-game but at that time you've seen so much content that you don't really mind.
