It's not an unofficial game.
It's the official game (the same version on page 1 here), with a mod that adds more content, and it's already packaged with the full game so you don't have to install it yourself.
Since it's mod content, that's not something that belongs in this thread. If the mod author doesn't put their mod here, then there's currently no place to discuss it.
As for it being safe to download... I have no clue.
Not going to spend hours and hours, and hours and hours, downloading from some premium requirement download link just to find out.
It should be as safe as downloading something normally, but it depends on which of the links you use (the pornleech one a few posts above or the one from svscomics on the previous page), as they can lead to all sorts of pop-ups and unintentional adware/malware that the site admins of those sites might not be aware of.
I've seen more potential malware issues trying to download through svscomics in the past before coming here, and I generally find downloading things featured on F95 to be about as safe as it can be.
It's version 0.13, the mod is an unofficial 0.14 someone made.
If you want to download from Mega, you need a Mega link. No Mega link, no Mega download...

One of the first games for me to ever play, sad it's Abandoned and not just tweaked to fit the rules on patreon.

What I can tell you is that Dark silver is switching back from online DRM to simple downloads since a ton of his patrons are complaining about lag and input delay so there is that, and he is finally introducing a playable MALE MC that you could play as instead of Katie so he is FINALLY going the right direction imo. (MALE MC is scheduled for next release and standard downloads a bit later)
Can't say that he don't deserve the hate because it is his own fault and probably because he is losing patrons ( I checked graphtreon and he lost around 200 patrons since august and over 1000 patrons since January when he was still working on BB. I predict a boost in patrons when he releases male MC.)

Back to the roots with a download version is a step in the right direction, but I don't think a male MC will really fix the problem of this game since you only leave yourself two options: You either render pretty much everything two times with a male and female MC which sucks or you go the "We never show the MC ever" way which also sucks.

You maybe right, we just have to wait and see. Also he is rendering pretty much everything so that might take a toll.

Now that steam endorses adult game, a smart move would be to revive and pursue this game but with some incest adaptations ofc and put it on steam. Glamour will never be as good as this.

Make a copy of the game itself, and use that copied version as the one you're going to use mods with.
As for which mods to use... Look at them yourself, what they add, and choose for yourself.
You won't really know which one(s) you're going to like and which one(s) you won't unless you try them for yourself.
Any questions about them, and/or issues with them should be in their respective threads.
