Sadly it was a Patreon thing. The Dev team has switched to a new game called Glamour. If you want to try that, they just released an offline version.

It's not really abandoned; Current version out (as of december 2018) is 0.15.001. You can look into it, however much of the new content is still in Russian (or has blank but selectable options).
