I don't think DS will start a new projekt and abandon BB as long he earns a lot of money with this game. Getting started with a new game is harder than to continue a successful existing game. There is so much more that can happen in this game.Couple of thoughts on the upcoming releases.

The last that i played was 0.9 and at that point i had the feeling that the game was not even half finished..

But there can be so much more done with this game...
-More movies.
-More events out of the house.
-You can think about pregnacy with 1 or more characters
-A lot more cross content between Characters.
I hope that this game continues at least untill a 2.0 version because there is so much more possible in this game.

I guess my thought is that DS will probably start working on something new (might already be doing it), then keep BB going for several updates after there are 3-4 updates ready for them new project. DS has said that there is another project that he wants to do, so I figure take time to prepare it, then start release while BB is still going to not only keep Patrons, but to build some interest.
Yes there is a lot that can still be done with BB, but DS could prepare and do a slow release on something new while finishing BB. That would give a chance to keep interest and support continuous, instead of having a break between projects. I don't see any real changes happening for 6 months, since we have Ann/Mom, Olivia, and Lisa updates with 2-4 more to get things near finished.
Just a thought.

I am the opposite. I felt this game has jumped the shark a couple of updates ago because not it had become very repetitive with almost no progress.
When you said that the game felt like it wasn't even half-finished, what exactly is it based on? I mean, there is unfortunately no plot line in the game other than banging the women in the house. The beginning was about being poor in a fancy house, but it was pretty much abandoned and it didn't matter anymore as storyline is discarded.
1. More movies is a bad idea because it's basically "fake plot (porn movie) inside a fake plot (BB the game)" which doesn't further the game in a meaningful way. Porn movies have become awfully repetitive as it started with Ann's HJ and BJ, then repeat with Alice's HJ and BJ. It's just pointless.
2. More events out of the house is also questionable because what we got so far either sucked (shopping which is essentially just $500 money sink for a BJ) or pointless (cafe girl to start Lisa's romance and then the romance is completely abandoned right away) or repetitive (doctor for more HJ/BJ). The biggest problem with events out of the house is that DS has absolutely no idea how to write an engaging story.
3. I'm not even sure what pregnancy would bring into the game. Is there even a point of it?
4. Cross content is something that I actually want. We got a bit more of it lately, but I think it's still done pretty badly in a sense that there's almost no interaction between the girls as a big group. Most of the times, you'd have interaction between 2 girls (example: Lisa and Kira for sex ed, Lisa and Alice for webcam) at the most as if the other characters didn't exist (example: yet there's no Lisa-Alice-Kira scene as if Lisa exclusively interact with Alice only if Kira is not around and vice versa).
Oh believe me, DS definitely does not rush things. It's as slow as it can already go by now.

I've been using wine for Windows only games for a while with good success. Last night I tried BB in wine for the first time and encountered a strange issue.
So my prefix is /mnt/wine/bottle, the Z: drive is mapped to /mnt/wine/z, and the BB folder is '/mnt/wine/z/BB/'. I'm usually in /mnt/wine when I input the wine command, eg.
But when I do that with BB the menu entries on the main screen looked like eg #menu-newgame# and clicking on that broken New Game entry resulted in a blank screen. I eventually realized that I had to be in the BB directory when I launched wine, eg.
So things seem to be working for me now, but if anyone can give me any indication of why BB (and only BB AFAICT) seems to care about my working dir I'm all ears.
FWIW I'm on Arch and I'm now running wine-staging. The issue also occurred with the standard wine pkg, though I didn't test the workaround with it.
