I took the bullet (NOT I love this game) and started a new game (my 27th) to make sure nothing would be miss with the new update/game v8 and I am happy to say you will not lose any content using your finish v7.3 save game file.

There is a lot of grammar fixing but still needs more work, a lot of the missed spelled words were fixed but with still have "kill" instead of "kiss" in Lisa's kissing training.
