Your game is broken because you never did the on-line courses which you should have done at the beginning of the game.
You are to far pass the triggers for it to go off as they should have at the beginning of the game.
Yes go with the romantic interest it will unlock Olivia as your 2nd GF and will unlock the coffee shop.
