My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. This was the ONE game that kept me interested. lenax9 is right, the Dev MUST release the source code, and deputise somebody to carry the torch, while remaining in an advisory capacity. It's like Genie Scout, when the first guy quit, he released it to Eugene, who kept the thing going. Come on, Dev ! Don't you want your Baby to grow up to become that wonderful Bimbo ?
It's HTML. Just open the html file in notepad++ and there's the source. You can also just drop the HTML file into Twine 2.1.

Ooooh, what a surprise.....

I saw this coming the moment the developer spoke about his IRL problems. You could feel his motivation going down and down, even if the excuses were totally understandable.

Now let's hope that someone will pick up the project and work on it with a bit more fervor. The game was one of the best for the HTML genre.

It's Twine. You'll have a much easier time importing it into Twine compared to trying to edit the compiled code.
Obviously. I'm just saying the source is right there. No need for him to release it. Although if anyone wants to continue it the polite thing to do would be to ask for permission.

I'm really sorry to see it abandoned, it was a very good game :(

Maybe you could continue it without the patron account or have payments made when/if new content is available? that way you wouldn't be guilty if you took too much time for an update...

In any case, i wish you the best

That's the thing i was going for. Hence my Genie Scout analogy.

However just in case. I think that if he didn't answer to my question before the close of his patreon page, we can assume that everyone can pick up the game and work on it ^^ It would be a shame to let it die just because the dev don't want to answer to a simple thing.

Game is abandoned, and there is no copyright as it uses itself pictures froms well-known actresses of the porn industry. I'd say that anyone can pick up the project, either the author answers or not.

So, will there be anyone here to continue this game, or must we assume that it's really the end of the line ?

Wow, just wow. This was the one game I was genuinely interested in, and now my day is a sad one :( Obviously I respect the decision of the dev to follow his own path, and i respect that, but I do agree wiith everyone else that someone needs to pick up the mantle and continue this project. We cannot let it die like this!!!!

Well, in that case at least you asked. That's all you can really do. Ideally he gives his blessing and turns over any unreleased stuff as well but if not I'd say give him a grace period and then just go for it.

I'd be totally down for someone to do that. I'm not entirely sure how to give someone the neater looking Twine file for this (it may import into Twine and be a huge mess?), but here is a mega link to the file *exactly* as it was when I put it down the last day I worked on it (Feb 10th):

It's in Sugarcube 2.21.0.

I am sorry that I've had to stop this, but as I said since I moved back home work on it was increasingly motivated by guilt rather than enthusiasm, and in February I simultaneously got rather sick AND got a professional project that I'm really excited about... This was sort of just hanging over my head, only really working on it because I didn't want to let patrons down. Once I had a chance to breath and think about it I realised I needed to stop, that if I didn't I'd just feel guiltier about taking more money to deliver an increasingly bad game. I'm glad to see people still like the project, though, and I'd really like it if someone - or various people - moved forwards with the project.

In terms of what I had done in the version above:
- A lot more June content
- Transformation of Ana from her SFW model to Bonnie Rotten
- More Sofia content
- Tying up some loose ends, like introducing Hang to Sofia

What I had been intending to do in v0.5:
- Transform Sofia from Eva Karera to Jasmine Jae (mainly because I love Jasmine Jae, but also because she has way more scenes than Eva Karera and I had begun to run out of good Eva Karera scenes)
- Develop the storyline of June working in the stripclub to become less bratty and more of a bimbo, with the player facing a choice of whether she'd be taken under the wing of Stella (becomes nicer, but not hugely sexual) or Rebeca (becomes way more slutty, but still a bit of a bitch)
- Have Ana be fired from her job at the coffee shop after she transforms to Bonnie Rotten, as her boss didn't want his business to become another bimbo haven in the neighborhood. This then becomes a minor story in the local news, with Councilmember Hernandez getting involved.
- Develop Dani's afternoon club, with Councilmember Hernandez becoming increasingly "interested" in the activities of the club (long-term view of Hernandez becoming a sort of domme ally).

But obviously anything and everything is up for grabs! I'd ask that whatever existed in v0.4.1 isn't changed, but the link above for the incomplete v0.5 should only really be considered a first draft and I'm happy for it to be edited. The Ana story, in particular, is where I started to realise I was running out of steam, and while the actual plot points I think are decent you can tell I was phoning it in for the actual scenes.

I don't think I'd want to play any active role in its future development, even just as an advisor, but I'll try and stay silent as I occasionally check in on it - if, that is, anyone wants to pick up the project.

First of all, thank you for this great game (however much it ended up lasting). I might be beating a dead horse here, but I just gotta ask.
You primarily mention guilt as the driving force behind the latest updates -or efforts for an update-, guilt that stems from getting monthly donations without much to show for. Would switching to a "per release" billing cycle make you reconsider things or alleviate some of your concerns?
This way you wouldn't feel obliged to churn content in a steady fashion, nor feel guilty about receiving money without delivering anything.
I for one would rather get piecemeal content once in a blue moon than rather not at all.

I guess that it turning into a community project of sorts (or being picked up by someone else) could work out, but more often than not such efforts make the games feel directionless at best, or a haphazard mess of gifs at worst.
Between this and Inner Bimbo, those are the only games that come to mind which deal with bimboification in structured fashion and with a story that drives the content and not the other way around.

Whatever the end result might be, I suppose we at least got to enjoy it so far, so thanks again for it.

You know, honestly that entire possibility just slipped my mind. A lot of this really was just down to me not wanting to be taking money from people when I hadn't done any work on it for like 3 weeks (like this month). I should really be working on other stuff right now, but I'll think about it the rest of today!

Thank you for your answer and your approval :)
And thank you for this amazing game again !!

And I think the idea of Paz is quite good, you don't "steal" the money of your supporters (so no guilt) and you can continue the game at your path (like Inner Bimbo).
I thank you for the Mega link and the "changelog" about 0.5 but I think you are the most capable to develop this game (This is your story, your ideas are good, and you pick the right models and the better scenes). I don't want to force you in anything, but just you don't have to feel guilty if you switch in "per release".

Great job and thank you again, it's good to speak with a dev (many just disappear when they stop their game).

I certainly wouldn't want any dev to feel pressured into working on something they aren't enjoying, but if that would work for you it would be a lot better than the game ending or being taken over by some random. Or by several each trying to make their own version of it. Even when a dev handpicks someone they know is good to continue their game for them it's often a negative thing because different writers have different styles.

I'm still a patron yours, and will continue to remain so until you decide to take your Patreon down( but hopefully won't). But I would suggest you think about switching to per release payment mode like Paz suggested. That way the guilt aspect which drove you to quit the project will be alleviated.
