Man, I thought there was an actual new post on Patreon. You can't assume what happened before will happen again, your sample size is 1If you look at his releases, All took around 2 years in-between, So we're pretty close of a release, let's see if it's still this year

because of lack of story and buildup and Soulless Characters . everything is dull in those games and It gets boring very quickly unlike this game.why aren't trainer games more popular?
To expand on phantomz point; The 'trainer' format is tied to a few specific creators (I would point to Akabur, Pink tea games, and Pyorgara as the main examples) who have been doing it for over a decade. nearly all trainer games not by those three are still made in the shadow of all the similar games made before, and with that comes genre conventions and expectations on how things are going to go in the game. There are obvious exceptions here but a lot of creators find themselves stifled under the label and would prefer to not be tied to those expectations. I honestly think that the trainer game label should probably be applied to a lot more games on this platform; A large portion of games that have the "male protagonist", "corruption" tags and lack the "netorare" tag could probably be loosely defined as "trainers"why aren't trainer games more popular?
I would also have to note that the genre itself is a risk for creator's payments. Too aggressive and down goes your patreon. Probably not as much anymore, but who want's to risk their livelyhood on the offchance? To expand on phantomz point; The 'trainer' format is tied to a few specific creators (I would point to Akabur, Pink tea games, and Pyorgara as the main examples) who have been doing it for over a decade. nearly all trainer games not by those three are still made in the shadow of all the similar games made before, and with that comes genre conventions and expectations on how things are going to go in the game. (for fun I would recommend that you search for games with trainer in the title but exclude all games that are actually tagged "trainer", there are like 50 games like that lol)
There's also the thing Phantom alluded to before, The trainer format really doesn't encourage massive investment in plot and a lot of people would prefer to label their story a Vn even if it's basically just a trainer game. I will disagree with what they said about the genre having soulless characters and lack of build up, because that's a problem endemic to all porn games
apparently the bloke takes years between updates. we were expecting an update late last year but he's gone silent again unfortunately :<this game was abandoned then updated and now abandoned again?
