1. Open the Rar file you're extracting
2. In the Top tap hit Options> Name Encoding > Change it to Japanese
3. Extract like normal

Probably already too late, but still, if you have 7-zip installed on your system, you can still use it instead of winrar with manual locale selection. The workaround is this:

1. Open folder where you download the game, press RMB, select option "open terminal/powershell"



2. Paste this:

& "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" x -mcp=932 "D:\your_path_to_archive\Bitch_Exorcist_Rio_1-6.zip"

Put your path to archive (obviously), and path to your 7-zip installation, if you didn't use default one.

You're done. It should work. If you are using CMD instead of powershell, just remove "& " from the beginning of the line.

there's something wrong with my game. This happens to part 1-6 View attachment 3385305

The game.ini file is broken for the first one, open the file and change the third line to "Library=System\RGSS202E.dll" and you should be fine. Just remember to also get the RTP for VX if you don't have it already.

Also, you need to download a bunch of RPG maker engines.

Your files probably got different names than they're supposed to because of name encoding, open the rar/zip file with winrar then i think in options you can find option to change name encoding, switch it to japanese one - shift-jis. It should fix the problem with file names.
