you make me hate these bitches, then you force me to fuck them...why can't i tell that slut emma to get out of my room, why am i forced into accepting her "negotiations"...why are some girls just automatically forgiven?
Because that is the literal plan? To lie low and have them think he is over it and wants "peace". To gain the information and access, they need to actually bring them down. They tried being confrontational, and all it did was help them get more "powerful". It is ironic that without the leak from the revengers, the squad would be in a bad position. The popular sorority would still exist and without them being in it function as a counterweight, while they have nothing to rally the people around.
Essentially, their confrontational way was shown to easily backfire.
Personally, I thought it was well done to showcase how the revenge trio went juvenile and had to get to the squad's level before they could bring them down. They knew only superficial stuff about them and got lucky with Charlotte revealing an obvious weakness. It fits perfectly that getting leverage over her was purely coincidental.
After this first set-back, they get help and have something that looks like a plan. Additionally, it seems to be the set-up for the path of the MC falling for the lifestyle the squad offers, if the player wants to. Instead of being the outsider, he would now become a beneficiary of the squad.
The last scene of the update reveals that all of the MC's actions are according to their plan, to get them to lower their guard. Any major sign of him still being 'hung up' about their former actions would have ruined that. Therefore, his accommodating actions are to be seen in this way. If they are genuine or not, will likely be decided in future updates. With the creator himself stating that the MC will have one shot at revenge against each of the B5 till the end of Episode 3, I think that is good enough.
It is a story that doesn't go for instant gratification, but that's all. If there weren't two scenes that explain this in-game, I could understand that sentiment, but with them, I think you skipped too much or just didn't care for it.
Lastly, it is a porn game. A certain amount of porn logic should always be expected.
Ide say its probably the one where they ask you if you are all in no matter what.Dont forgive Annie. Maybe also agreeing to release sara photos and then again on the beach when asked if you can forgive and forget.
I agree with, and I would say the Kate action has till now the most revenge driven motives behind it. The blowjob was brutal on her and her later on tear-stained in the bed speaks volume how much it broke her. With their confrontation in the current update, the MC even gets some massive hits in on her. Honestly, he was brutal, and Kate's reaction says it all.
I don't want to double post, so, here are my thoughts on the game overall.
Generally speaking, I like it. The storyline is interesting, and I appreciate the humanizing moments that are granted to the antagonists/love interests.
I think the idea to focus less maliciousness and more on callousness is right. For them, it really was just a prank or a joke. It happened and then they forget about it. Maybe later they can laugh about a second time or so, but that's it. The true impact on the victim, they simply blend out or don't care. For me, this is the best way to portray it to leave the door open for anything else than brutal revenge porn. In the sense of rape, enslaving, forced prostitution or outright murder. Kudos for not going too hard in that direction and choose a more sensible set-up.
The cast is diverse and mostly interesting. I am not too big of a fan of the shoe-horned romance with Ashley. One thing is to start with an established relationship, another to have one forced upon the MC. While it is plainly left open what it is, for all people looking it looks like they are together.
Now, some things I wanted to mention.
Rachel: That some would blame her is understandable, but others would point the fingers to others. Especially with the older president introducing the tradition and holding on to the stick with the pictures.
In line with this point, I would like to see a mention of the fact of only the pictures of the old members being leaked, while the ones from the pledges were left out. While Rachel mentions the fact itself, the implication of it is forgotten. Also, the pictures of the pledges are not mentioned as even existing anymore.
Honestly, I would think one of the girls would lash out at the squad. I think it makes sense for many of them to connect the dots to the squad having their hands in the release. Maybe having one of them disrupt a meeting or public event from the squad could illustrate that nicely, and offer a choice for the MC.
Charlotte: She seems like a massive hate sink right now. Currently, I think she is secretly either outright a lesbian or bi and acted the way to Amber out of confusing childish infatuation. Like young boys pick on girls to get their attention, she did the same. The other option would be she is a simple bitch, which is also fine.
Kate: I liked her scenes, the amount of agency she was given and the raw moments shown. Especially, the extended library scenes were well-done in my mind. I liked both versions, the one where she is called out and the one where she thanks the MC. Both revealed much about her and actually made her more than just this perfect leader figure that can pull shit out of her magical hat to ruin lives.
Emma: At the moment, my favorite character. Confident, manipulative, deceitful and happy to banter. I really hope she is not changed too much. It may just be her many scenes with the MC, but contrary to Charlotte, she seems to be fun. While it could be my weakness for evil villainesses speaking, I think she is awesome the way she is portrayed till now.
Annie: On a personal level, I despise betrayal, and turning against family is a special kind of betrayal. This likely means I am harder on her than on the others.
My first problem is her internal inconsistency. On the one hand, it appears like she is or was massively into the MC, but also slept around without problem. Her outright denial of giving a close friend the okay to get together with the MC speaks volume, but on the other hand, there is no issue with her blowing a near stranger. It is like he is not truly worth going after completely, but at the same time no one else should have him and she herself can also do what she wants. The attitude is so hypocritical that I find it hard to see any positive qualities in her.
I think one of the main issues is, that we only saw the betrayal and her taking the side of the bitch squad, but nothing from her being an actual good friend to the MC. She was supposed to be close to him, and we are only told that, but never shown. This leaves the scales clearly in favor of negative portrayals.
In nearly each scene, she comes across as confrontational and not nice. It feels like it is turned around and MC is the bad guy, who stood aside while she was being humiliated, attacked, mocked and hurt. At least that is how she acts. Even the scenes, where she actually is helpful, come across as reluctant on her part.
Finally, with the pictures being sent from the same source, she already confirmed the bitch squad was responsible for it by stating that they did leak the pictures from the sorority. I hope for the chance to confront her with that fact. She seems like the most obvious hook to destroy the B5 from inside.
Sara: I hope she is not revealed in some plot twist to be the dark mastermind behind much of it. Don't know why, but I get the vibe that much of her actions are fake.
MC: I don't get the need to make people as average as possible. Most of all, he doesn't come across as average. Socially aware, he understands the actions of the B5 and can see their moves. A good example is how he identifies Kate's action in the library. He sees the implications of it and not the surface appearance. Then there is his social magnetism, with him seemingly able to get close to multiple strangers in a few moments.
Personally, I wait for the reveal that he was considered everything but normal from the B5's side.
Overall, I hope there will be no reveal of a greater evil or someone behind the girls pulling their strings. I think they work best as these flawed characters. Not good in any kind of way, but they have the potential for being nice. Instead of good people just making wrong decisions, they are just not good people. And that is actually interesting.
In the end, this was far more text than I intended to write, but whatever. Hope you keep up the good work.
