No, you start a new game in S2. The game is mostly following a main story anyway, so probably no need.

My main problem with this game is the switching between modern and fantasy. One minute MC is fighting monsters, next he is serving drinks, or taking a test in school.
I don't have anything against the game, and I know the developer has worked hard on it. But if I was some sort of super being... I don't think I am going to work at a bar, and probably would not continue college... what is the point if I will rule the world?

Aha, you would rob banks or people to gain your luxus life? And the detail this club belongs to your girl doesnt matter at all.
As for school, you want to play a dumb monster instead of gaining the skills or better said the diploma you need to improve your possible jobs in human society (hiding in the mass is fine, but if you want power and having sexy snacks work for you, you will need the basics). But hey, maybe the dev adds the choice to live with the orcs in the future, then you dont need school or jobs, but your enhanced smell could become a curse down there ^^
You don't need a college education to be successful. Steve Jobs, Oprah, Bill Gates are just a few of the people to have left school to become successful. But for the game I found those things stupid. But if you enjoy serving drinks and taking test... more power to you.

I dont know oprah, but if you are a genius you dont need school if you have some luck. Its a sad fact most people prefer dumb people who can learn for tests over intelligent people who give a fuck about tests. They see no diploma and dont give them a chance...and honestly, do you think the protagonist here is a genius? He will need every diploma he can get if he dont wants to mindcontrol everyone in sight.
You try to live in multiple worlds here, you want to keep your human life, you are bound to the vampire society and as choosen one you are almost forced to meddle with all the other intelligent species around. You cant do everything with raw power, you need your brain, know how they think and why they think so fo find the acceptable/diplomatic way to solve interspecies problems without exterminating one of them. Given the history with humans you also need to know much more then just grewing up as "human" yourself. And the games plot is to change things for the better, so its mandatory to know what went wrong in the first place to fix it and prevent it happening again. Imho he should study more in other libraries, the one in the temple is most likely not very objective if you look for werewolves, witches and others.

that's cause this is modern fantasy with vampires etc and outside of town area has apparently forest full of monsters etc.
yeah I get that, never said I didn't understand it.... I said I don't like that. I prefer a game like the Nephilim... whole story is fantasy. Or a game like The List... story of vampires in the modern era.
I am not trying to hate on the game... it is what it is. Just my opinion. And my opinion will not hurt the game or the developer.
