From what I've played so far there are a lot of ways this game falls short of expectation.
There are way to many background shots with nothing going on. Am I going to spend 75% of this game looking at walls and rooms with no one in them? If you don't give me something to look at I'll just button mash through all the empty rooms until you do. This is a visual novel after all
The first scene with Sachie makes it seem like the MC has never touched a woman before. Especially with all that internal dialogue. I get that he must have limited experience with his frigid wife but he has touched her before, right? Speaking of, Ayano gives off weird vibes too. At the most she's indifferent to him but more than anything she seems put off by him, like any time she has to spend with him is a chore she'd rather avoid. It seems like he has zero presence within his own marriage which makes it hard to believe he's going to go around stealing peoples wives
The straw that broke camels back for me was making me choose between love interests, there are few things I hate more than having to choose in a game with a harem tag.
And hey look. I don't really like coming into a thread just to shit all over someones work, it's not cool so I'm sorry for that. I came for the Netori and harem tags but I'm struggling to see the potential. Between having a weak MC, endless images of empty rooms accompanied by internal dialogue, characters with zero chemistry and having to choose between LI's. It's just not a satisfying play experience.
Can someone tell me if things develop a bit more or does this set the tone for the whole game?
