You overestimate common sense. Or rather, as days go by, common sense changes. Some things that were common sense no longer are because younger generations don't have to deal with what made it common sense. This zip thing is an example of it. In the past, you needed dedicated software to interact with archive files. Now, windows has native support for them. You can open them like any other folder and there is no indication it is any different besides the icon.

Well guys I troubleshooted my problem, now I can finally play this shit that I can't for the last 5 months
I've been trying to run this on the Joiplay emulator for android but after I get it extracted, the RPGVXAce RTP file installed and try to play it, the music keeps playing but the game just freezes when you either press enter while dialogue is occurring or just freezes right before the character naming screen comes up. I've deleted it, redownload it and extracted it with ZArchiver, Joiplay's import archive feature as well as several other file extractors with no luck. I've tampered with every setting for Joiplay's rpg maker plug-in, and tried downgrading joiplay and the rpg maker plug-in to several different versions each but still nothing, does anyone have a solution or any suggestions?
(I'm on a Google pixel too btw, I've also found other people talking about issues when trying to use joiplay for this game but they never found any solutions either)

If your game keeps freezing on JoiPlay, you should try enabling ANGLE driver in developer settings for JoiPlay AND Rpgmaker plugin

This problem usually happens on Google pixel phones for some reason. I have one and had freezing issues with the game. But now after I changed driver it seems to work normal. At least it's the only solution I have found.

Tysm, I tried this awhile back too but the plug-in wouldn't appear in the ANGLE preferences, just Joiplay. I got the version of rpgmaker plugin mentioned in the link, 1.20.53, but it was incompatible with the current version of joiplay, so I had to downgrade to the 1.20.41 version of Joiplay and I finally got it to work
