There's a ring of sin in the previous area that gives 50% evasion by itself. It's near where the nightmare spirit attacks. Add on thief cloak and a target shield for another 30% and leaf ring and you have 100% evasion without dodge (which he can dispel so don't rely on that). Even without ring of sin or leaf ring, you can get abhorrent cloak and/or empty ring to make up some. You'll need some health regen or leech though if you use abhorrent cloak. Dark side moon spell and demon/deviledge sword have lifeleech. Also get fear immunity.
Btw, make sure you killed the whalebeast in the previous area or you can't recruit Pinocchio for the fight.

To be clear, you dont need to kill "Gods Fish" (the one you run past), its some other enemy that you need to kill. Way easier than gods fish.

Damn thats a real long video but I believe you. I was going in and out of this thread a lot over the years and didn't even know more than 50% of the things. So many secrets in this game and a lot of mutally exclusive scenes. Don't even know what happens in dlc3 but thats a long long time away

In comparison, it felt like black souls 1 was pretty simple to understand and there wasn't many secrets in that (I think).

Well i killed the deep sea night and idk what to do from here. Got like every boss and idk how to accesse the DLC

Most likely no. Toro is working on another game related to black souls right now though,titled Dead Red Hood, and is planning on another one after that before working on bs3, as of the most recent news regarding future plans.

You don't need ending B to get ending G. But if you want to get ending B then make sure you have all these covenants at level 3: Dodo, Shisha, Node, Wolris, Mock turtle, Hatter, Bill, Margaret, Twins.

Did you press ESC when the selection comes up? It doesnt add a new choice next to the other three, you need to 'cancel' and then another choice pops up if you did everything right.

You just need to get any ending so you can return to the intro. But you also need to fulfill some conditions in the run before to make it available. You need to get all 6 alice memories (red castle, queensland, carrol river, oxward, tea party, beach of grief), leaf ring, and at least 10 red hood meetings (there's some leeway here as there are 14 or so possible locations), all in one loop. Then you get an ending and start a new loop with the crystal in the library, don't skip intro, and when it asks you to choose your Alice press cancel (default key is X).

I've seen some 3 years old messages about that there will be BS3 and 2 other games, but are there any updates?
