I think Blackadder is subjected to the same syndrome that many artists and myself suffer from; namely, that you always end up with more or less the same "type" of woman because you have your favourite traits, only with minor differences. When I saw your question, I could honestly not tell the difference between the two, and I have been following BA for many many years. Gisela19 great set but not without a pet peeve of mine. That being said, I think it'd elevate the whole thing by a considerable margin if he DID have a sort of on-going storyline for his characters instead of jumping from one scene to the next without any conceivable development at all. But I guess that's just not the world we live in.
He does not communicate with his fans, has outdated payment methods and no monthly subscription to support him, deletes models on a whim, no commissions and most of us are banned from ever buying his stuff by either
Sharing his stuff or being associated with people that did. Between sets we have no idea what he is working on or if he is still working on stuff at all. And also no advertising, most people I know that follow his stuff found it accidentally, no twitter or other platform that he could advertise on.
There was a fan account on both twitter and instagram that advertised his stuff without sharing them but he had them took down despite that.
You are completely right and I think it is only a money scheme for him by now, recycling older sets and positions slightly. But nevertheless it is preyed upon, and would you personally try to improve upon that when you know its just going to get pirated inside a week? Edit: I want to emphasize that I do not give a shit, but at the same time I am tired of seeing ingrates on F95 whining about sets not getting shared in their "precious" times. I think they should be sent to the front lines in a war somewhere to die off quickly to be honest.
I dont care when it gets shared, and now I actually earn money I would gladly support him by buying if I werent banned forever.
But the bit where her took down fan accounts giving him free advertising without pirating was just stupid, especially seeing as how he wont do any himself. I would also support him on some platform like patreon by subbing but he wont do that either. His models are great but I wish there was more communication between him and fans.
Let us all take a moment to go over how much time it takes to compile a scene like BA makes.
For those with ant sized brains: TL;DR - a lot of time.
Now we continue to the actual time it takes to make a scene or SET he makes.
You position the characters in connection to each other, and if he does it like I do, that takes everywhere in between 5 and 20 minutes. Five if you have a saved position and you want to tweak it. 20 if its a new one and you want to tweak it. In some cases that is the total for both in others it is just one character when you want to be creative, like in his Miriam 12_25 image with the alien holding her mid air.
Okay so you have a scene that takes 5-20 minutes now. Then you have the FACIAL expressions. If he has them saved, that takes a minute. If he doesn't and makes a new one; 5 minutes.
THEN you have the indentations on skin which takes forever in Daz which I work with. If he exports the models and makes them by hand, hell, that could take up to, and beyond an hour if they are precise.
Then you have the morphing and positioning of the dick and pussy/ass... 5-10 minutes if its in the shot, 1-0 minutes if its in the background or out of the camera angle.
Edit2: I forgot one very important aspect... the hair... that is the stuff of nightmares depending on the asset and flexibility. I never see anything that catches my eye in his sets so naturally he uses a lot of time making the hair flow correctly.
Then you have all the extras he does for us, with the clothes getting torn off and sperm in the images. Who the fuck knows how long that takes in the software he uses. In Daz that takes ages to get looking right with mesh grabber for instance. so everywhere in between 30-60 minutes.
Now you multiply that with images in his set.
And lastly you multiply it with how long it takes to render in 1920x1080, which is approximately 20-25 minutes. If he renders in 1280x720 and upscales to 1920x1080 it takes a bit less, but then he has to export to another programme to upscale to FHD.
Of course this varies a lot but my point is, it takes time.
And you're whining about buying his sets for $14,95 xD
Edit: Aside that you have lighting an the environment and price of the assets he uses.
Edit3: I forgot camera angles. It seems it is a new one for each shot.
