I've talked with BA in the past (few months), since covid and the economic fallout. Cost of production for each set he makes is calculated to see if the risk is worth the reward. Most likely you won't see any "costly" sets anymore; just cost effective sets that bring him biggest margin profit for least effort. ie a set with one girl and one monster (2 max). If he did attempt a larger scale set, he will have to charge more (double the price) to cover increased render times (energy, time) etc.

If his goal is to bring in the biggest margin profit then he would be on SubscribeStar and other modern platforms to reach more customers. Preferably he has a Discord and SubscribeStar to post WIPs, ask for feedback, and post full works. Right now, he just does he feels like and hopes whatever he releases next will sell. We saw this with his last few attempts at releasing new models. They didn't sell and he scrapped them. Wasted time that could've been avoided if he interacted with his fans.

BA said he was going to drop another batch of AI stuff before the end of 2025. That didn't happen. I guess no one was buying them.

If he really wanted more sales he just needs to come up with more creative stories instead of generic scenarios. He could do:
- More gangbangs with 4+ monsters. He used quite a number of monster models in his sets back in the older days. Now there are 2 at most in a set.
- Stories that span over multiple sets, like Below the City, The Trip to Egypt, Devil's Island, and Rise of the Guardians.
- Continue from the cliffhangers of some popular sets, like Megan 5 (where Gisela was seen getting chased) or Tia 3 (where it looked like several Goshas were going to fuck Tia next).

You realise all of that requires effort and that's not what he's about.

Artists who still sell individual comics must all be over 50, because I can’t imagine any other reason why they would cling to that old model when subscriptions are clearly far more profitable and attractive to people.

And BA, with his quality (at least before AI) would imo be one of the highest earners.

Even before with AI his quality is sub par at best. He would not be anywhere near the highest earning because he refuses to adapt his workflow.

"They take a cut" is a poor excuse. The market on those platforms are way larger than whatever he's using currently. He can reach a wider audience and gain a wave of new followers, offsetting losses from cuts. People know about Patreon, SubscribeStar, and PayPal. Hardly anyone's heard of Renderotica and the current payment platform he's using (don't remember the name).

He just wants to lay low and refuses to expand his brand to bigger platforms.

Actually the smartest Artists do both. Sub and sell. No reason to not have Substar and Itch for example.
I don't think it would matter for BA Attitude or not. His Art has not evolved since what ? A decade ? (And no AI is not evolving it ).

Not into gang bangs or even two dicks but your second and third option are top notch. Make a set so great we want to see "part 2" or if a set (especially a mini-set) sells well, make an add-on for it. Even themes could work well: Halloween gone wrong, Christmas & Santa's helpers, getting drunk at oktoberfest, etc.

The guy is selfish and self centred, has always bit hi nose to spite his face, he won't talk with you or even accept a commission if you haven't already bought a set or two, your value and opinion of him matter to him depending on how much you've spent on him and even then he'll still brush you off. Like I said, ask him. Perhaps he only interacted with certain folks. IDK but clearly there are fans he communicates with. But you should reach out. Worse case scenario, he won't respond. Best case, you'll get feedback directly from him. You have nothing to lose.
