Yeah, I agree. It's been feeling that way for some time now. He's an odd duck and wants to do things the way he wants to do em, which I can respect. I reckon his art isn't a primary source and he just ain't got that fire in him no more.
I don't think he ever had that fire in him, whenever he releases an update that isn't a new image set he's always complaining about something, whether it be server issues, store issues, or his overall lack of content, he never seems to be happy and always complains about his community to his community.
I do remember a post of his where he complained that he "finally" gave us what we wanted and the sales were supposedly shit. Like he stuck his fucking neck out and did something "new". My guy, he posts the same 30 - 50 page monster rape image set but with a different character after throwing a dart at a board where out of the 6 or 7 girls he has, 5 of them are Gisela.
The dude has no creative ideas, churns out the same shit, then complains about how the current shit isn't selling as well as the previous shit. He tried the story telling, with Below the City, which started off great, then gave up because it was too difficult to create a continuity, so now he throws out stuff that looses follows from that, "loose" being a very generous term.
Any attempt at trying to get him to make something new either through commissions (if you can even get one without him blowing off your idea) or just general feedback has resulted in telling us to basically eat sand.
Oh and to top it off he he stopped an entire fucking continent from buying his shit because he couldn't deal with the small amount of tax he had to pay on every sale.
The only reason I personally stick around is for Miriam, and on the very very slim chance he may smell the coffee and actually try to do something new.
