The FBI is an internal US investigative arm of the Department of Justice (DoJ). It is currently illegal to distribute what the DoJ attributes as child pornography across state lines (which makes it a Federal crime, thus FBI, otherwise if it was intra-state, it would just be a state matter) as is done on the Internet. It is also illegal to profit off of child pornography. So at the end of the day, if the DoJ determines that pixels on a screen is in fact child pornography, they will investigate, and collect evidence, and prosecute.

Age of consent varies greatly across countries and continents. In my country and Red China it's 16, in Argentina it's 13 (i.e. releasing movies with Traci Lords is not a crime there). US is not the navel of the Earth.

I see simple_human already posted an i-patch. I was working on one as I was playing through the game, and it ended up being a bit more complete (mom is now willing instead of afraid to engage with her daughter so the whole thing actually makes sense now, and there's some extra sex talk.) I hope it's OK if there's two patches?

I mentioned nothing about age of consent. I mentioned nothing about the US being the center (navel) of the world. The question I was answering asked why the FBI (a US agency) was interested in arresting game developers. I answered that question as to the legal reason and supposed jurisdiction of their interest in arresting game developers. Outside of that, keep your personal biases to yourself.
