I looked at one of their blender files (the Nia on the throne one) and all the models were scaled by 10, so my guess is he forgot to adjust the inter-ocular distance when rendering, or just didn't know. Basically, if the character is larger, than the distance between the eyes of the viewer would also be greater. But I still can't understand why he'd scale the models by 10 for the animations... more physics resolution? No idea

interesting...maybe on different headset its not as noticable? Are you using index as well? Ill try to look at the ethel video if it is also scaled weirdly for me
EDIT: ethel is fine, also new nicole video is scaled correctly as well

HP Reverb G2. Idk I felt like she was too close and looked too tall, from what I recall

the camera may be a bit close but the actual scale is correct, at least it doesnt seem weird to my eyes like on some of the other videos

yeah, maybe I confused the scale with the camera proximity. It definitely wasn't weird to the eyes

Made a Zip that has everything from OP and this Thread (up to 11.10.2024) and put it into a 1 File-Download.
Keep in mind Pixeldrain slows your download-speed to 1mb/s if you reached your download-limit.
(i recommend getting pro if you download a lot on f95)

ONLY ANIMATIONS....NO PICTURES/NO WIP´s

FolderView:

MainFolder: 24.10.11 -- BlobCG

Subfolders:
-1.VR Videos -Atelier Ryza -Fire Emblem -Genshin+Honkai+StarRail+ZZZ -Hololive-VTuber -Kimetsu no Yaiba
-Xenoblade Chronicles -Other

Sub-Subfolders:
"Character-Name"

The animations are sorted into each Character-Name Folder.

Example: 24.10.11 -- BlobCG -> Xenoblade Chronicles -> Pneuma -> Files


The Sorting is based on my own Full Collection of Animation Authors with a slight change.
Personally i have it like this, example: Xenoblade Chronicles -> Pneuma -> "Mod-Author" -> Files


This should be up forever (no deleting) unless im told to delete it by Pixeldrain or BlobCG him/herself.

There are new files that are not in OP !
Its everything from OP and this Thread put into one File and sorted/cleaned up.

IMPORTANT
Some Animations are duplicated because there are more than 1 Girl active.

Example: "Aegis Triple BJ 1" so the Animation is in Mythra´s folder and in Pyra´s folder and in Pneuma´s folder since all three are active.

If you are short on storage, delete those duplicates, personally i wont because of the Collection purpose.

(I included the Upscales in this Thread, most VR-Files have multiple Resolution-Versions)
(You will probably free up a couple of GB with deleting those Duplicates)
(Keep in mind its based of a Character-Collection, duplicates are bound to happen in that case.)

FULL COLLECTION: (As said ONLY Animations)

(This Collection should have everything released to date, im not 100% sure tho, reply if something is missing)
(Im not talking 2k 4k 6k 8k 100k versions of an existing Animation, im talking the whole Animation missing)

(I did not change any file-names i kept them as they were in OP/Thread)
(No i will not split the download, the purpose is a 1-File Download, get Pro+ Account or deal with it)

Kinda wish he did some HSR girls, and maybe 1-2 Genshin ones. But if I remember correctly, he did say he wasn't interested in them. I guess I'm going to have to respect it

The ZZZ character designs don't really do much for me. I'll still download the new animations, but more just out of habit to maintain a complete collection, as opposed to being genuinely excited for them. I hope Blob goes back to Xenoblade some day. Kills me how he never made animations with several of the models he made.

His Nicole and Jane works have made him reach completely new and hungry audiences and his engagement level is at all time high, I highly doubt he's going to go back to Xenoblade anymore unless it's for Pyra (no other girl is as popular as her).

A new character called Burnice was released today in ZZZ and her trailer was literally the #5 trending video worldwide on YouTube and posts about her were reaching front page Reddit.

And you best BET Blob is hard at work making an animation for her right now, then after her we still have Zhu Yuan and Yanagi who are porn magnets too, I wouldn't be surprised if he pivots to being a Mihoyo porn animator after this.

Upon checking again, the trailer is still trending on YouTube... Yeah, Blob is going to be a ZZZ fulltimer

Honestly, I don't blame him... He'd be making tons of BANK from the Mihoyo audience. I'm just glad that my favorite Xenoblade character is Pyra so I won't have to worry much about that.

There's lots of options, including several he made models, or even short loops for, but never a full animation. Even just limiting to main characters in 2 & 3 (his focus), there's:
  • Eunie
  • Sena
  • Mio
  • Melia
  • Glimmer
  • A
  • Poppi QT Pi
  • Morag
  • Haze

Oh, I don't doubt that. IIRC, his Patreon sub count increased by about 50% in the last couple of months.

Guess I'm just a hipster. I was an OG Blob fan from 2022 and enjoyed his glorious Xenoblade run, but now that he's mainstream and doing all Mihoyo stuff like 80% of all the other animators out there, I'm not really interested.

My only hope is since he releases his models for characters he's not interested in working with anymore, maybe he'll at least release all the Xenoblade models he's sitting on and someone else can carry the torch.
