Isn't he just getting commisioned by them? It's not like he can just say no if they have the money to pay for the request. Pretty sure Silvervale all but confirmed it by saying she's "working with him", he'll just accept whoever commissions him regardless of popularity, seems more like a marketing stunt on the part of the VTubers while Blob doesn't care since he's getting paid either way.

Silvervale is known compared to the blue thing. And tbh considering who Blob made a stuff for in the past, this silvervale content is just the cherry on top.

Pretty sure the blue thing is the avatar of the voice actor for all of blob's works so either she commissioned them or its a thank you to her for being, if anything, reliable.
