The ZZZ character designs don't really do much for me. I'll still download the new animations, but more just out of habit to maintain a complete collection, as opposed to being genuinely excited for them. I hope Blob goes back to Xenoblade some day. Kills me how he never made animations with several of the models he made.

I wonder which character you think if Blobcg returns to animate XC series?

His Nicole and Jane works have made him reach completely new and hungry audiences and his engagement level is at all time high, I highly doubt he's going to go back to Xenoblade anymore unless it's for Pyra (no other girl is as popular as her).

A new character called Burnice was released today in ZZZ and her trailer was literally the #5 trending video worldwide on YouTube and posts about her were reaching front page Reddit.

And you best BET Blob is hard at work making an animation for her right now, then after her we still have Zhu Yuan and Yanagi who are porn magnets too, I wouldn't be surprised if he pivots to being a Mihoyo porn animator after this.

Upon checking again, the trailer is still trending on YouTube... Yeah, Blob is going to be a ZZZ fulltimer

Honestly, I don't blame him... He'd be making tons of BANK from the Mihoyo audience. I'm just glad that my favorite Xenoblade character is Pyra so I won't have to worry much about that.

There's lots of options, including several he made models, or even short loops for, but never a full animation. Even just limiting to main characters in 2 & 3 (his focus), there's:

• Sena
• Mio
• Melia
• Glimmer

• Poppi QT Pi
• Morag
• Haze

Oh, I don't doubt that. IIRC, his Patreon sub count increased by about 50% in the last couple of months.

Guess I'm just a hipster. I was an OG Blob fan from 2022 and enjoyed his glorious Xenoblade run, but now that he's mainstream and doing all Mihoyo stuff like 80% of all the other animators out there, I'm not really interested.

My only hope is since he releases his models for characters he's not interested in working with anymore, maybe he'll at least release all the Xenoblade models he's sitting on and someone else can carry the torch.

Its just sad to me cuz Blob was a case of "this character gets barely any animations, but theres a dedicated creator who always delivers god tier content of her", which i always appreciate.

I love Caesar and Burnice, but most of the zzz girls are already getting so much content daily, I'm just tired of seeing them at this point.

ZZZ honestly is nowhere even close to the popularity of Genshin or Honkai, so I wouldn't call it mainstream...yet. there are very little high quality 3D artists for ZZZ and Blob is comfortably sitting at the top at the moment, he took a leap of faith with that Nicole work and it worked so well, hell, the fact that he's doing Caesar at all, who in the community isn't even half as popular as Jane in terms of porn just shows he still has an eye for underrated girls, because she's extremely cute in game (and busty as hell)

Also a side note, the ZZZ animations he made are clearly FAR higher quality than all of his other works in terms of animation fidelity and smoothness, so, while I think chasing a bigger audience was part of his plan, he clearly is quite passionate about the characters themselves too, and artists being passionate about the characters they animate ALWAYS results in amazing works... Just look at all these Tifa super simps who pour sweat and tears for their works (Nagoo, Hydra, JuicyNeko etc)

okay jokes aside, i don’t think he’s going to fully abandon xenoblade. he said he’s taking a break, yeah money is a big motivator, but the only reason why the zzz anims have been the highest quality is because he’s been getting way better way faster. big time porn artists do obscure characters, and i think the animation quality is gonna keep the audience more than whatever series he’s doing for the month.

My favorite XC character is Mio, im sad that there is literally zero high quality animations with her and now with BlobCG new direction, the chance of her having new animation is even lower...i guess she was too pure to be lewdified lol
