this story was good at making me as frustrated with all the ambiguity as the MC. i dont like being frustrated though.
i also didnt care for the thought images of other dudes fucking, especially with what i assume are potential LIs. MC didnt want to imagine his parents playing with the whore, why would he want to imagine his childhood friend as a whore, and so forth.

i didnt dislike it, but i cant really say im looking forward to more content. best way to put it, at no point did i think, man i cant wait til MC fucks her, and idk story wise it seemed obvious MC was gonna inherit and likely his blood line is more imporant than he knows, so the mystery angled failed to deliver, on top of all that vague dialogue and run arounds. only LIs im half interested in are the twins, so that would make me 25% interested in each of them individually, or less, cause i may only like them cause they are twins.

there really isnt anything bad about this, but it just kinda feels like its missing all the parts that make people want to come back. im sure if i ever see an update ill try it. really can not see me anticipating or looking for or waiting on more though.

It was written for teens but it was a best seller among Karens. Anyways, there were some copy cats of Twilight and nothing have reached the level of popularity of the original work. The last successful vampire work has been Nosferatu, and that's has nothing to do with highschool vampires

I'm not against the characters' past, even if they were involved in prostitution, but why show these sex scenes from the past to the player?

I think the author is trying to establish the type of society MC is entering into along with the perspective and status of several characters that MC is going to be involved with. This is porn and fantasy vampirism woven together... wait, that's what Dracula stories are always intended to be... haha. Anyway, the maid is shown in sexual situations that were beyond her control. Others are shown in various forms of hedonistic behavior usually associated with corrupt eternal life ennui avoidance. I am just saying I don't have a problem with that at this point. Whether or not that will continue to be true... remains to be seen.

Perhaps that's fair, and perhaps it was unfair of me to say you were personally gaslighting, but that's how it reads to me. Because, while these things have nothing to do with the MC, they have everything to do with these other characters. The story isn't about the MC only, but about MC's interactions with others. And so having those other characters established in more detail helps to understand what they're like.

On purely functional level, it also allows the developer to provide some sex scenes early for people who play porn games (also) for sex scenes, without reducing the plot to "MC meets someone and five minutes later they're fucking like rabbits" which isn't everyone's cup of tea, as far as pace of development goes.

I think that revealing characters through sex scenes from the past is the worst idea for a game that is a harem and not ntr.
