Just follow the story, then close to the end of the last update you can choose the path (but atm you can only choose dom-path)

Farmhouse. Don't know the specifics, but i just did did one of each sort vegetable and flower (hence flower has 2 pots) and then every day in the morning visit it: chase away the bugs, use vertilizer, use water and harvest if possible. Water and vertilizer need to be used every day. I had the scene within a week I think.
