'Playable' is not the word I would use. Claire can become pregnant at the end of High School and/or College and have an arc where she makes decisions about that event.

In the main game (Act I and onwards), there is the chance she can become pregnant. That would be the only place where it becomes 'playable' but given the abbreviated timeline planned in the game, it's highly unlikely she would bring the child to term -- and if so, would result in a Game Over anyway.
Fair enough.
So the fertility tracker only matter for HS and college? Or do you plan to use that as obstacle for her mission?
Like she only has money to buy either the treatment or some other thing, forcing her to choose, etc etc.

Just asking

Actually the reverse. There's no 'tracking' in HS or College, simply an equation at the end of each to see if an accident happens.

During the course of the mission, there's far more gravity and individual calculations for each risky encounter. As the mission goes on, the effects of pregnancy, her resolution on how to deal with it (or not) all factor in to the situation for her.

0.8.1 Release & Poll Results

0.8.1 has been released for our Handlers and Agency Chiefs! What's in this update?
  • Claire's results in college and high school affect the graduation and commencement sequences? Drop Out? Graduate Early? Get some crazy good grades? Now there's touches, flavor and realistic endings for each of those arcs.

  • The Cheerleader paths for HS and College have been enhanced and expanded.

  • The first lesbian animation has been added to the game for those who's 'first' hookup is a lady.

  • New passage art.

  • Updated and improved 'Final Form' widget! We're improving the responsiveness where you finalize Claire's look In the character creation. This is just the v2 of further improvements. We intend for it to be better, more interesting and more flexible.
Poll Results

Acting HSV - 32 (20%)
Barn HSV - 3 (1.8%)
Beach HSV - 14 (9%)
Church HSV - 11 (7%)
Dance HSV - 15 (9.5%)
Helper HSV - 2 (1.2%)
Home HSV - 8 (5%)
Job HSV - 10 (6.3%)
Africa Gap Year - 34 (21.5%)
New Au Pair Gap Year - 23 (14.6%)

Finishing School Gap Year - 6 (3.8%)

Which means, for 0.9 we'll be putting the Africa Gap Year, Acting HSVs, and a new Au Pair Gap Year on the docket. Don't worry if your fave wasn't on this list or didn't win, we'll be sending out a poll for the next release series during 0.10 with different options along with the ones that didn't make the cut above.

0.8 Progress Report

The dev team is hard at work, below is a progress report:
  • Expanding the Dancer and Working Girl Mission arcs (and a little expansion of the Bargirl arc). Each of them is getting a moment where Claire can decide on being an active or more passive investigator at the Club.

  • Claire's Modeling Arc in College (new!)

  • Additional HS content /flavor with Claire's parents

  • Has 150 more HD assets complete and more on the way!

  • A toggle is being implemented for Claire's accessory -- don't like the cowboy hat or something? You no longer need to 'move' Claire. Just turn it off!

  • The Final Form widget has been seriously improved with hover-implementations that should make choices in character creation more responsive and intuitive.

  • We're beginning work on outfits being mix-and-match. This will allow for more customization in Claire's outfits in the main game. Like a certain top to go with a different bottom? It'll be up to you!

  • In the background, we're continuing on a longer-term project where we're visualizing all the different versions of Claire's mom based on the choices you make in the Prologue (its a LOT of assets).
The above is being planned to be released with 0.8.2

"Release Day + Progress Report!
Origin gets 0.8.0.1! Sudden Agents get 0.8.1.1!In the meanwhile, we're also rounding out the stat and trait gifs for the non-sex skills.

Which two do you think these are?
As I'm working on the modeling content, I'm moving the high school portion out of the main 'arcs'. It will be a possibility for all clique Claires depending on their stats and choices. This is more reflective of reality and how it's structured in College as well. This is requiring some restructuring to the flow of the earlier portion of the game, but that was going to be needed in different places to allow for a vignette or two with Mom and Dad as planned.

I'm also looking forward to the Loser Arc and curious what ideas you have for the basic outfit for Claire. Post pics with your visualizations for Loser Claire in the #image-inspiration channel on Discord. The favorite one will be what we use for our art assets!"

There seems to be a bug in the code at the beginning when setting up her upbringing. "My sandwiches, sure, were cut corner to corner — the best way. , my real dad, showed up and on-time when it was his turn." There is a typo in the dad name variable "$CC.EDName" vs what it should be "$CC.DName". Also, looking at the code, and judging from the "my real dad" portion, it seems the game considers her parents separated even if I made sure they were together.

"The family, for all its foibles, I had makes me smile." --> " The family I had, for all its foibles, makes me smile."
"When Mom traveled was an interesting time" --> "it was an interesting".
"Hell, what is memory anyway." Should be a question (?).
"Daddy could be a little short-tempered when she had just come back from a trip." Should specify who "she" is, as this passage is on a separate page and it would be better to specify either "mom" or her name as other wise it sounds like her father was the one having returned from a trip.
Remove the stray period at the beginning of this sentence ". I couldn't help the wry little grin, enjoying the bewilderment."

Also, in this passage I saw 3 lines spoken by Jake, the father, in a black window, yet further down when he speaks again his text is regular. I would say for consistency's sake to choose one or the other style. I would say having character speech showing up in a sort of bubble would look good.

Decided to create a 2nd post despite it counting as a double post, since I see dev having tagged it as looked at.

The image of the graduation hats being tossed is broken. The name of the file needs to be shortened to correspond to the coded name in the html. I did that for myself, so it's an easy local fix for those who've seen it.

In the scene where MC realizes she is preggers, the game doesn't care about the gender of the baby "daddy", having females being the father. LOL The passage starts with "At this point, I was pretty sure it was" followed by the partner name. Best to add a gender logic such that only M characters would be selected from MC's Hall of Shame.

In the Dossier, the tab with the censored operation name when highlighted shows the name of the variable rather than the actual operation.

It's also sad that the choice regarding family size is only in passing, never having to meet the siblings or grandparent.

Thanks! I went in yesterday to address your other post.

As far as this, most of the above have been corrected in the supporter releases.

Content regarding family-size is something that just takes time and coding and effort, it's on the roadmap but low-level priority.

I encountered this error and couldn't continue the passage. Do anyone know how to fix my game? 1730725856875.png

My game (7.3.1) also aggressively breaks during the prologue around that same screen (in the University section). It tends to massively overstate romantic partner numbers, even if you pick options on the chaste side of the spectrum and the game tends to crash with an unpassable error in the next page.

Yes, those are issues with the last public release. They have been addressed in the current 0.8 dev cycle and seem to be fully resolved.

Thank you for reporting!

Release Day!

0.8.2 is releasing for our Handler and Chiefs; 0.8.1.1 for Dossier tiers. What's in 0.8.2? It's a big one.
  • More interludes each morning in Home Base reflecting what Claire did the previous day.

  • Each Club Arc has a choice for Claire to be passive or active in her investigation.

  • Two of the three Club Arcs are nearing the end of the first 'phase'.

  • Identifying features has been added to the Dossier -- and the Legendary tattoo is now reflected!

  • Modeling in high school is no longer an arc, but a possible additional vignette path!

  • New random 'bodies' for HS and College models.

  • The opportunity for trying out modeling in College! -- four new outfits!! (HD in future release)

  • 85 more HD-ified assets for the doll on top of the hundreds already in-game.

  • A toggle to turn off the 'hometown' accessory on the doll.

  • 'Final Form' is fully new and improved. Better responsiveness, hovering over choices to see them reflected on the doll before choosing!

  • Claire's measurements are now in the Dossier

  • MORE passage art!

  • Coding in significantly more speech bubbles for easier, better play
What's up next for (0.8.3)?
  • We're going to be shifting the character creator forward. That means picking many of the aesthetic and some of the skills/traits for Claire right out of the gate. Claire's parents will now be reflected in the choices you make for her rather than the other way around.

  • Setting up the first big event for the Working Girl and Dancing arcs in Act I (Bargirl to catch up in 0.9)

  • Creation of a new HS Arc -- the Loser Claire! and Loser Quick-Start Claire

  • MORE HD Art!

  • Even more new outfits!
