Thanks for the feedback on the bad end! I like that scene but some script adjustments could definitely make the reaction feel more justified - I'll keep this in mind before the public release, I have some ideas.

To be clear, the core issue isn't just the groping but MC breaking a clear boundary they established. There's an internal conflict for Ayumi between her enjoyment and broken trust but this is too early in the story to push the boundaries that far.

There's also the practicality of this being a BAD END and I don't want to sprawl the narrative in a direction that leads nowhere so I cut the content down a bit...

I do love traditional, but NTS is one of my favorite adult genres. Yet I've still gotta say that I stick with my thoughts of this seeming like it's just vanilla that's awkwardly interjecting NTS into itself so far, even if that may be a bit unfair since it's still so early in development.

Still planning on putting this away for a year or two to see if I'm into it by then, unless it turns / adds NTR, lol. There's more than enough other games to tide me over until then, so there's no use getting uppity over the wait and trying to make myself enjoy a product I don't mesh with yet. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Any game makes hundreds of CGs in 1 update every month ;/ You use AI, this should be easy to do but you put a maximum of 20 images in an update. 40k words, it should be a maximum of 500 per update, stop counting words immediately, this wall only makes us use ctrl ctrl

Speak for yourself bruh. I enjoy the text in the game more than the cgs (though they are great in the remake). If you are not here for the slow burn nts story then I don't know WHY you are still here. It has been made pretty clear what the tone and direction of the game is and will be.

As for the amount of images per update - please name at least one game based on ai cgs which developer pushes out a larger amount of high quality cgs WITH good (or at least serviceable) story and animations in a 3-4 weeks update. You will not be able too.

I really wish there would be a Walkthrough. It feels like the choices dont matter to much and It just takes to long to brutforce them to see if there are diffrent scenes avilable.

For those enjoying the remake - thanks for the kind words! The new animations, CGs and story have a lot of work put into it, so I appreciate when people connect with the vision.

BTW has always been about that slow tension, not just jumping between h-scenes. There's a method to the madness, I promise. I understand this style isn't for everyone

On update size, that's part of why I've moved to an arc-based schedule instead of roughly bi-weekly. To deliver more complete updates rather than arbitrary cutoffs. I'm still aiming for shorter updates when possible though, as I like the consistency of it.

On pace, you can now read weekly dev diaries on Patreon to know exactly how much content is added per week. I'm working very hard as a part-time solo developer, dedicating most of my free time to the project. You can decide for yourself if this is enough for you or move on to other projects.

For the "this will never finish/remake-of-remake" folks - I've heard this since literally day one, yet here we are. I literally made that joke myself on April 1st, get some fresh material :LOL:
Ive seen games getting lost in the remake loop.

The concern is real.

Hey man,it baffled me the first time as well.As far i have seen the immediate dialogue after the choice may differ and maybe the immediate cgs,it is not long lasting effects for now.I believe it was mentioned somewhere that impact from the choices will be seen in later chapters/arcs where the route will be locked.The difference in the choices from what i understand is who takes the initiative and does the teasing(for now) thus being more active/dominant in the relationship.

In practical terms:
Tease Queen = Ayumi in control
Submissive Pet = MC in control

Act 1 will determine who's in 'control', the tone of the story.
TQ is more hotwife, cuckold NTS
SP is MC porn director...:LOL:

The choices are mostly obvious, indicated in the tone of the response wording...

The old version had a gallery; this one will, too, eventually...:LOL:

If you want a better idea of what's going to, or could happen, play the old version.

I know this won't help with the slow, crawling story progression, but please cram some more text into the box. Splitting the text isn't helping the game feel more immersive. Imagine doing that here:

You post one idea.
Give your reasons or thoughts.
And post the second part of that idea.

When you should have posted both the idea and the follow up or action in one box.
Then you can follow up with internalized thoughts in a new box, followed up with what happens after if it relates to said thoughts/narration.

I don't think we want. Or need, really.
All these text broken up.
When they all could be in one box.
Since they all match.

And I'm not saying they're all like that, but a good chunk is. And again, not saying it'll help with the crawling pace of the meat and potatoes of the story, but it'll make it feel like we're reading and waiting less. At least, imo it might help a tiny bit.

Also, I know it's a lot to ask, and a bit early to ask, but could we get more variety? Like, if we chose to be more in control rather than letting Ayumi tease at her own pace, could we get a good, bad, and neutral version of an event? Good means we keep influencing Ayumi more on our chosen path. Bad isn't always bad and just means she will be heavily influenced the other way, and neutral means keep the influence the same, with the scale moving from other more obvious binary linear choices instead.

I'm all for a slow burn, but he was talking about the development being slow, not the story. And both topics have been beaten to death already.

This game definitely have the best start I ever see in NTS genre.

I’m not a big of fan the eastern art, there a LOT of words, few images, I really thought it would be a boring experience, but the second day is a masterpiece, I’ve never seen anything like this.

Love hotwifing, cuckolding, etc. I do it in my real life. The true is dev is joking with the roleplay in a nice way: step by step, respecting boundaries; the MC is not a pussy, mostly of what Ayumi does, she does with MC’s encouragements; the sexual relief (the other girl is super sexy); that size issues roleplay is also amazing

Hope the pauses becomes shorter, I hope I don’t wait for a year for another update.

I could even list several, but in 4 weeks not even this game is doing it

I'm not against slow burn, I'm against the game taking so long to be made... and 500 quintillions of text that leads nowhere.

Good updates without absurd delays, delivered on schedule would solve 90% of my complaints about the developer and reduce the absurd texts that lead nowhere, practically Chinese poetry about a handjob being performed.

If these two problems are solved, I would say that I've always been a fan of Tori since I was a kid.

Hey everyone,

The forced (roughly) bi-weekly schedule served its purpose in getting the project back on track after the remake decision. But now, with new content showing up more often, I need to make a few changes to make sure I don't mess up the story.

To be clear, there will be a few scenes/moments you will still recognize from OG until we get to Act 2+, but there are enough new scenes and story changes that events will not happen like they did in the OG. You might as well consider this a new game from this point forward.

New Development Approach

I need more time for planning and more time to work on the new content. With that said:

• I'm now a much bigger fan of doing smaller arcs whenever possible

• I'll still try to do the fastest releases I can to keep the pace high / feedback cycle fast

• But I do appreciate having the flexibility to take longer than 2 weeks for an update when it requires that

Weekly Dev Diaries (Every Sunday)
I will re-introduce dev diaries as they are very useful to fill-in the gaps between releases:

• Concrete progress metrics (words written, CGs completed, etc.) straight from RenPy

• Preview image of non-spoiler content

• General update notes for the week

Release Planning

• Release dates will only be announced when I'm confident they'll be met

• The week following each release will be dedicated to planning the next arc - this is very important to structure the release and know exactly what I need to do

Next Release
To start off with a clean slate, I will do a release this Sunday with what's currently done, even if it's not where I originally planned to end this arc.
