That's what gets me, I don't mind if takes forever, just don't tease the releases tell its ready.

But just to recap
4.0 - came out in January
5.0 - End of March
5.2 -End of April
Remaster - started in June

If 6.0 and the remaster came out in the end of November, I think that would have been perfect. 3-4 months for a update, 3-4 months for a remaster.

I'm sure some would wonder why a remaster would take more then a few weeks, in fact the last few pages are full of people posting AI art and thinking they can do the remaster in a few days. But I think Tori is going back and redoing old dialogue, like he always has, and adding new scenes. If you remember, in November Tori teased Pan and Ake being added to the remaster with larger rolls (Pan and Ake were the two faceless chicks in the maze). I don't know how big the changes in the remaster are going to be though, because tori doesn't really communicate with his patreon or discord.

Waiting this long for a remaster and 6.0 isn't a problem for me, the problem is that Tori has teased the release a few times now and I'm beginning to think its just cold feet. I mean he spent a month remastering 5.0 just because people didn't love it (I called it a filler update, but I did like it), I think the dev might be scared to release the remaster so he's just going back and rewriting and redoing scene after scene to perfection.

Just remember, this is the devs passion project, not his full time job. He already paused his pateron tell the release so we cant even say he's milking it anymore. All we can do at this point all we can do is wait...or post more AI slop and complain but I rather we didn't.

Sorry, but if this was his passion project, this remaster would've come out in 2 months.
I know passion projects and you don't come out saying that this passion project is not my top priority because I have a job and it is more important.
If this was his passion project he would've worked his ass off 16hours a day, remastered in 2 months and made a bank with 800-1k supporters. Not enough to turn his passion into full time work... Ooookay. I guess it is not enough passionable

You know what this translates into? Remaster is not even halfway done and dev is too embarrased to reveal it.

They key was latest update where he added some nonsense greece gods party with new multiple characters that nobody cares about. Story trajectory gone off and he lost the plan.
What's next? Ayumi discovers her inner powers to fight power of darkness?
All he had to do to continue working on plot about a couple doing naughty things in tropical island. Even if story would've end up shorter. Take what he learned and do next game with improved visuals.

On another note, Vulgar Reverie surpassed this game when it was for months in its shadow. Good for a dev. It has more content and actual human drawings with no 6 toes.

All it took me 30 minutes for my first try.

Ayumi and Ari on the beach. 2 characters in a single picture! Oh wow, so much work, it really took tons of tine. Probably would take 10 minutes for my second time. Entire 10 minutes!

He's been working so hard to get the style right... And here is me with little experience at this AI art getting Ayumi 50% (a lot of this is just my personal preference) right in just 2 hours without even using any Lora.



The other guy here made his own Lora. -30% chubbiness and you got same better looking Ayumi than in this "remaster".

How is that happened?

His discord post is all repeated excuses that he did months ago with no specifics on actual progress. Tells a lot.

Go read whole 1500 pages of Ecchi Sensei where BlueCat dev did the same for years with his game. Even after 4 years of no progress where fans themselves remastered game in a month or two that dev earning 10k/month couldn't in 4 years.

When a dev cannot say ANY kind of specifics after 8 months of remaster and cannot tell the date for remaster release and half his post are same excuses of fillers he used 3 times in his previous excuses posts few months ago... (Please chatgpt write an excuse post) It's not good. There's a reason why he never talked about any actual progress in significant way.
