Progression since Jan is steady and improving, so I decided to checkout the Old Build and see what changes the dev is talking about and future story progression assuming the game sticks to the original storyline.

Well, aside from the massive graphics improvement, all these new updates are repeats. The only major difference has been the addition of Kai, that's it.

I really hope the dev takes the new restart to heart and abandons the upcoming Cult arc (assuming we stick to the Old Build). There's still some great content with Ayumi and Ari before that I'm looking forward to in the new graphics, but after that the Cult arc is just.. boring? You're basically left with an arc with some short buildup with Terrace, then he dissappears and random other characters show up for more Ayumi teasing. The game's investment with Terrace and Ayumi feels natural and side stuff without Terrace involvement feel more like padding.

Either way, if 2 week release cycle is legit, then at least catching up through all this Old Build content won't take too long and we can get back on the Terrace train to Bone Town.

Good updates without absurd delays, delivered on schedule would solve 90% of my complaints about the developer and reduce the absurd texts that lead nowhere, practically Chinese poetry about a handjob being performed.

If these two problems are solved, I would say that I've always been a fan of Tori since I was a kid.

The issue with this mindset is assuming Tori is sitting at a computer all day every day, working on the game. And that's just not rational or practical to assume.

New Development Approach

I need more time for planning and more time to work on the new content. With that said:

• I'll still try to do the fastest releases I can to keep the pace high / feedback cycle fast

• But I do appreciate having the flexibility to take longer than 2 weeks for an update when it requires that

Weekly Dev Diaries (Every Sunday)
I will re-introduce dev diaries as they are very useful to fill-in the gaps between releases:

• Concrete progress metrics (words written, CGs completed, etc.) straight from RenPy

• Preview image of non-spoiler content

• General update notes for the week

Release Planning

• Release dates will only be announced when I'm confident they'll be met

• The week following each release will be dedicated to planning the next arc - this is very important to structure the release and know exactly what I need to do

Next Release
To start off with a clean slate, I will do a release this Sunday with what's currently done, even if it's not where I originally planned to end this arc.

The actual game still before the lesbian kiss on the truth or dare game, but have some new content that don't belongs to the old version, like the last update start a marco polo game in the water.

i guess that can't be happening, that the whole point of the game. He is focusing on the progression of the game not the route which is not the main focus of the game.

Did you really ask for a vanilla route for a game whose entire reason for existing is the dev wanting to make a game about sharing? Come on, man. That would be like asking for an NTR path in a romance, vanilla, lovey-dovey game.

What has the most recent update added in terms of content? Any significant progress/scenes?
