For me, the complete discussion about routs boils down to:
1. I don't want to decide! I want to see all of them (espec. the spicy sceens)
2. I don't want to be stuck in any of the routs (espec. with a
Bad Ending, whatever this might be), becaus I like all of the characters allready to much
.
So, basically, in every descision, I realy feel beeing forced in the position of the MC (considering what to do and what not to do) and to be excited/be afraid of the possible outcome.
And if that's the intention of the Dev, it is a quite curel but ingenious way to create immersion into the story.
