This does sound pretty good, but I do have my concerns. I fear that BtW like many games that attempt to implement multiple choices and routes will chew off more than it is able to. There is a risk of the story becoming way too segmented into too many different branches and each branch not having enough meaningful character development and scenes. It's one of the reasons why the remake felt necessary and why I mentioned I wanted to give more agency to the player in my last post. This will be more obvious as it goes along.
You're supposed to feel torn between wanting to see everything and feeling the consequences of those choicesFor me, the complete discussion about routs boils down to:
1. I don't want to decide! I want to see all of them (espec. the spicy sceens)
2. I don't want to be stuck in any of the routs (espec. with a Bad Ending, whatever this might be), becaus I like all of the characters allready to much.
So, basically, in every descision, I realy feel beeing forced in the position of the MC (considering what to do and what not to do) and to be excited/be afraid of the possible outcome.
And if that's the intention of the Dev, it is a quite curel but ingenious way to create immersion into the story.
On the other side: May he then have to live with all the stuf starting to fly in his direction (very rightfully, beeing this kind of evil-minded)!

Roleplay.It's impossible to write both gentle romantic content and hardcore kink in a single kinetic path while maintaining believability - the branching lets me commit fully to different flavours rather than trying to water everything down to a safe middle ground.

Personally I think it's more fun when people experience the story by making choices that feel right in that moment, without overthinking - at least on a first play-through.

It's also easy to implement with 2 inexperienced characters as they learn what they actually like, don't like, and what their limits are. I do like your example of roleplay, but even something as simple as "mood" can be cause for a normally tame partner to ask for something more for "fun".Roleplay.

I not against A, C and D. I would actually really like to see A. But I am fiercely against option B. I would really hate to see a another very rare Netorase game ruined by turning it into another super common middle-of-the-road generic and boring NTR game.
