Guess you haven't heard of Skycorp and his game "The Underworld"
Dude has always online DRM for a text based game. Your ability to play said game is only for as long as you pay the subscription fee ($10 a month). Your payment lapses, you don't get to play.
Again, it's a singleplayer, text-based game ala Corruption of Champions. You think Rel is fucked in the head, wait till you read some of the shit Skycorp posts in defense of his payment model.
There was, and people have cracked it. The dude who usually did and uploaded here, just stopped.

. It's about 30 pages of people complaining about the payment model, and 30 pages of the dev defending it. He starts charging on page 6.If I remember correctly, too, each game is signed to a specific ID, so if you tried to share it the dev knows it was you and nukes the ID/bans you.

Do note it's a very shallow game.
It's mostly just wall after wall of text with little actual input from the player... and you're expected to pay a monthly sub to access it. I don't mean access the newest content either, I mean access to all but the 'demo' version of the game. They don't steadily release the older content for free, they keep every last bit of it behind their paywall.

Not to mention, that since flash was killed off, they've been re-releasing older content in a new engine, so things haven't progressed in literal years.
Literal years that you're expected to shell out $10/month to maintain access to.
I think this is all a bit off topic though, so that's all I'll say about it before things get derailed even further.
Still, just remember, if a dev seems like they make some really shitty decisions when it comes to payment and DRM, at least they're not Skycorp... unless they are Skycorp.

Personally, I don't think DRM belongs as part of a porn game...especially not one that looks like it's a dress-up simulator with an overdone story.
What do you mean with that? BMO TV isn't in our games subvention list and our money pot is empty afaik.
Thx for this piece of information. I haven't found it on the federal website about subventioned games. But is it even necessary to pay money if a dev gets a nearly guaranteed not lowering stream of money? I mean 20k won't help them to pay new workers and there is also not a need to buy a ton of assets, as it seems.
Something about that just feels wrong....like trying to force the government to view and support sexual activity...or taking advantage of goodwill.
How can I apply the navel piercing. It is not in my wardrobe and talking to the AI isn't helping either.
You have to get lucky enough to roll that piercing on the weekly show.
Same with all the other piercings. Savescum and hope you don't get a combo you don't like. You'll never get the exact one you want, so you're just gonna have to deal with "I can tolerate this combo".
The dude's a grifter pretending to be under the guise of deviant sex positivity. The government really doesn't care enough about it to look into it, but I guarantee if you brought it to their attention in detail or people raised up enough of a stink, they'd definitely cut funding if they saw that that was what taxpayer money was going to. The dev rubs me the wrong way in all the wrong reasons because they had a little bit of success, and it all went to their heads and they think they're hot shit and can do no wrong or be criticized in any way. Fact is, if he didn't pay for the artist that does all the work for the game visually, this game would still be as shit as when it launched.
