# We disagreed on one topic - Zip's conduct in the past ( no need to avoid it, it was just a healthy discussion imo ) - and it took over most of our interaction (a couple of posts): so it was the norm I think, and quite fine by me. I don't take it personal when people disagree with me... It's a forum. (Rest assured it's not up to you to reopen it, but up to Zip - let's hope it was a one time thing)...

Actually we disagreed on what is reasonable conduct & expectations for fans of a game (so I guess that's two things now).

But it is a hot button for both of us, no reason to poke at it. The thread is nice right now, time to enjoy the calm.

Hey Folks,

Once I release the next part with Liza I will give some insight in the direction of the story with her and the other characters. I have in place routes already planned out for them as it is important to to keep the stories consistent. Also I need to go back and add in a lot of missing story from the early part of the game and have a better build up.

A few months back I locked in how the characters are going to act and then type of story they going to get. For example the Lucy's shower scene where she attacks Bobby and forcible jerk him off that was done as Lucy has a abusive relationship toward Bobby a bit like "Vera" from Bones' Tales: The Manor and how they interacted. The spoiler below gives another example of some of the changes to highlight the route changes.

I wanted to mention that liza's friend already exists
and that bobby in rainces original blackmails her.
in the original with the continuation of the story she is unjustly set aside.
to introduce her it would not be necessary to distort the story but as in the original she would be my favorite victim in the shoplift.

Disagreeing without giving some explanation feels like kind of a copout. That being said, I have a problem with being wordy. Sometimes it kind of works for me when I'm writing other stuff. But I didn't grow up with texts or IMs to help curb my wordiness, so instead I end up writing little essays to try to explain my point. What you saw was actually the short version after I acknowledged I had to cut some stuff down. But I should have kept trimming.

Although if I can draw a comparison, just as people won't have time for my long-drawn out posts, I don't think many will have patience for updates for BBS or any of its derivatives that just continue the cycle of teasing but never really satisfying. Right now Dark Path is a different kind of teasing with the game overs and other "fake sex", but still basically a tease like the original game was. I'm not saying to rush things, but I also don't want to see things move slowly just so that the game's lifetime is drawn out. I get that is how developers make their money, but I think this game should just be a warm-up piece for Zip before they move on to their own masterpiece. In this game though, I'd say to pace things out so that all four main love interests get their due in different stages of the game, and the players see real progress versus game over scenes, sleep sex, or scenes with characters that were never in the original.

Acho que estás apenas a puxar dos galões (no teu ingles) ou pelo menos a estica-lo como exercicio...

You could easily wrap all that up by saying that you're fed up of years of dragging and you want to see this game heading to some sort of resolution (ending) in order to move to the next stage (a totally new chapter).

And that wouldn't be a bad idea, not at all.

No offense taken at all. It's a friendly conversation among people debating how they'd like to see this specific game and overall BBS world move forward. It is nice for people to be able to speak passionately about things and disagree on various points without it devolving into an argument. It does highlight the difficulty devs like Zip face in trying to please as many people as possible while also making something they can be happy with, because there are a lot of different opinions about where to from here and the pacing thereof.

I think there may be some confusion, especially if English isn't your first language. If it's not, I envy you for being able to write in a second language so well, as my attempts to learn a second language failed miserably. But oftentimes stuff like this gets confusing because its a case where a word means something other that the literal meaning.

"Placeholder" in this case means that ZipTieFun means to add something to this later. The text "holds the place" of the actual scene to be added. When they do add the scene, they'll remove the placeholder text and it will just be the scene there. Other devs might use the words "To be continued" or "this is the end of the quest in the current update," or something similar. So right now there is no further progress to be had in that scene. Maybe this explains your issue.
