Is this version will go anywhere? Will be updated and continue the story? Most devs cower down - too afraid to make MC some real thread and make MC guy so weak that it's almost weird - make some empty promises, take money from fans and run repeat...

# Yeah BBS has been stranded for so long and there is no propect of taking a significant turn for the better. Zip's been around for almost as long as RAInces (as Axeman) and we're still stuck at the beginning of this... He is doing some interesting work and communicating properly but, as always, he keeps rambling a lot (remaking, retouching, tweaking this and that, improving skills - 5 yrs...) losing focus on what really matters: story progression. Is it a milking strategy? One could say that but it's probably not because this is his M. O. (even before monetization).
I really appreciate his work and effort but can anyone tell when will it (BBS DP) catch up with RAInces story (BBS v1.0 - 2021 or even BBS v0.15 - early 2020)? When will we be able to play a full version of BBS? In 5 yrs? 10? This is not acceptable... But there's no one else. So as long as zip is around there is a glimpse of hope.

No, he says he release the update on Friday. But not updating till Sunday, where he says tweaked this, improved that, then releases Tuesday... Or not...

I personally can’t see why some people blindly support devs . It’s dumb and it encourages a lot of these milking types on here.
I give devs what i call a test run , like if they can consistently update 4 times in a row then . I support. If your one of those people you only have yourself to blame.

If I'm not mistaken in his last message to people, he wrote that he's taking a few days off, so his "weekend schedule" might change.

Zip is not a milker. He is an amateur and sometimes it takes him longer to render or code.
And i think he is sulking sometimes or getting pissed off, as goes quiet quite a lot if something is not to his standards
Which is good, means he has a passion for the game.
Milkers usually dont giva a shit about the game or supporters, just stall updates and all they want is your money...
Not to mention if they dont have the passion for creating, their game is somehow shallow...

I will continue to encourage devs that I enjoy their work. I dont "blindly support" anyone.
Theres alot of complaining about waiting in here, just tried to lighten the mood.
Where you put your money and how much is always your choice, informed or otherwise.

I tend to agree with you. But I also have to mention that his patreon and subscriberstar accounts are making him 1200+USD per month. It is very tempting to postpone or delay work...Zip is not a milker. He is an amateur and sometimes it takes him longer to render or code.

I was talking specifically about devs that updates some times and think that they can just disappear for months and still find support.
and the idiots that sub to their patreon after 1 update. things like that causes behavior like milking.
there are devs out there that update every month on the clock , they deserve support.
